      There’s a few where his wife gives it to him the way he gives it to others. My favorite is when he’s telling her how to baste a turkey and she makes him do it.

      I love these strips because they show the chemistry in the couple. If only one of the two were violent it would make for an abusive relationship, but it looks like they really found each other and don’t need to bottle their feelings. It’s quite progressive for 1908. Still, if in real life you and your partner frequently shout and throw stuff at each other you should at least take anger management classes

        I feel like these comics were the anger outlet for the author. Like, you see an annoying social situation where you’d like to just clobber the annoying person, but instead you go home and draw a comic about it.

    I Iove that Lemmy is into a 100+ year old comic. What I’m curious about, is this a uniquely Lemmy phenomenon, or is this comic making the rounds on other corners of the Internet right now too?
