I believe this is wolf’s milk slime mold, but I’m not certain. I found this yesterday while on a short hike. Quite a beautiful specimen.

      They don’t react to touch. You’d have to stare at them for a while to notice anything, all footage I’ve seen are timelapses. And I think they don’t move at all when sporulating.

        I don’t think Lycogala moves around like you would see Fugilo septica (dog vomit) move over time, creeping along. Usually just these little pink or brownish balls. If you poke them with a stick when young they’ll exude a paste-like substance.
