I like Disney movies - and I like that they have evolved a bit with the times. Frozen wasn’t perfect, but a huge step up from Beauty and the Beast (from a feminism pov). I just saw the Lilo and Stitch live action movie and really liked it.
I didn’t personally see the live action lilo and stitch, but I watched a few people talk about it. It seems like a lot of people are disappointed that they changed a lot of the themes of the movie. I know families can look different, but do you you have any thoughts about how the change affected your enjoyment? I only personally know two people that saw it and the consensus seemed to be that it was a letdown.

Here’s an example of the general criticism I’ve seen: https://youtu.be/vfFGEFUFaHQ
I do snt see the animated one, so I don’t have a frame of reference. As a standalone it was good.
Oh, that makes sense. Thank you for the response!
I’ve steered clear of the live actions, I’m all about the cartoon. Are the lives worth a watch?
Lilo and Stitch is… Not sure if I would say the same of the others.
