But . . . if it’s federated, wouldn’t I see it no matter what instance I was on?
Going on the largest instance makes lemmy more centralized, allowing the admins of that instance to do bad decisions without consequence (example: lemmy.ml)
So, yes but possibly 3 days later when there’s a tidal wave of new reddit refugees flooding in.
