That would require Microsoft to do something like running a 1:1 local render of everything the player is doing in their sim, for everyone playing the game, at all times. And then they’d have to stream that video feed to the player and somehow make sure the elsewhere-rendered terrain is synced up perfectly with the player’s local game. Doesn’t really seem reasonable.

It clicked at a young age, I’ve been good at it and enjoyed it since I was like 13. Found out it was profitable a little later and yeah, that’s all it really took. Just the path of least resistance to be honest.

I wish I liked math, I blame the way it was taught to me. I can only really grasp a concept when I get all the "why"s and "how"s. It needs to have a practical application. But that’s never how math was taught to me, it was always almost completely arbitrary. “You might need this in later classes” okay well that’s not at all motivating for me, nor does it make it interesting.

I wouldn’t really call this graceful degradation, more “convenient/good design.” Since changing batteries is sort of a regular occurrence for a flashlight. But the sentiment is appreciated regardless.
