“Magnesium Glycinate” is the one I choose for daily use. Magnesium Citrate is great at getting those Mg levels up initially; but for daily maintenance, I prefer the glycinate version. They kinda have their own use-cases imo
a haughty, cackling asshole ignoring a woman’s expertise
Boy howdy, that’s a spot-on description. Never listened to him because I expected it to be trash; but I didn’t realize the situation was so dire
Motherfucker leans into sensationalism and shock-value, because he’ll be forgotten as soon as he shuts the fuck up—and of course he won’t have any useful skills to hold a job with real value afterward. Fucking cowardly shits, afraid to work on something of substance when the fame/infamy runs dry
So yeah, it indeed made my blood boil a little lol. Wish I could say it was mostly pity for him being so… dumb? But nah, that’s a person acting like garbage and should be treated as such (until proven otherwise)
Oh, heard that. I’m on 128 on my phone too and they were all disabled
For everyone trying to find the setting— On my android phone, there’s a setting called “data collection”. Mine were already all off, so idk who it affects
Idk what 128 is on a phone, but my galaxy s21 had everything still off. Guess I’ll have to keep an eye on it
She leaned forward, turned off the monitor, then turned it back on. “I did this 10 times already, and its still not working”.
And this is why I couldn’t work in IT support; I just don’t have the patience for certain things. I always love teaching people new things, but most people don’t care when it comes to computers; they just want it to work effortlessly even when they’re the one screwing it up.
And especially working on-site! Oh my life, I bet there’s that same few people… just constantly failing to even try lmao
I hear ya, and appreciate the info because I didn’t know that. I was saying that I would do both before calling, and then again when they asked me
But this was back in like 2004-ish, so I’m not sure what was best practice back then. I would just try it all before calling lol… going so far as to shut down and unplug for a few seconds or more
Honestly, I would try the restart first (cause it was easier/more automated), and then a full shutdown and power-up. It’s been many years since I called any IT support though, but that was mu process. Cause I hated having to call for help lol
As someone who has been asked to restart the computer, even though I already did that before calling IT support… I internally sigh, but begrudgingly do it again just to appease their process. Because I assume plenty of people don’t do it and make y’alls life a tiny bit harder, when a restart would’ve fixed it
Also, how many are solved by making sure the power cable is not just plugged into the wall, but seated into the back of the computer as well?
I mean you’re not wrong lol. I only mentioned it because of the comma before an “lol” at the end of your sentence. I have android and it started correcting my “lol grammar” with commas as well.
I like to punctuate with “lol” dammit, I don’t need it to be grammatically correct!
Are you also a millennial who uses an android phone?
Nah, you broke my brain a bit too lol. I had to re-read carefully to try and follow… and I still wasn’t sure by the end
Huh… that made my brain do a few twists. The reference point for distance would be our own galaxy (I assume). So you would think that the furthest one would be the “oldest” due to expansion of the universe… so I would think that you’re correct in your correction?
Unless they meant “older” in the sense of “discovered earlier”? I have no idea anymore, I guess they could argue it either way
Edit: After re-reading it, I think they’re just referring “Younger” and “Older” to how the galaxies appear to us (due to the time it takes light to travel). As in, the newest discovery is “younger” because that’s the age that we can observe it as, by the time the light has reached us. Idk anymore, I know nothing lol
We always joke, wondering, “Is it cats or kids” when hearing screaming (like kids playing, or cats fighting). Sometimes, it really is hard to discern
a metaphoric adjective describing situations where it is not clear which of two events should be considered the cause and which should be considered the effect
I guess the overtones are a product of their times. Currently, it seems to be: is science/religion the “cause” or “effect”.
I always staked claim that it was a “scientific vs philosophical” question; but I never considered how timeline could change the overtones or underlying thinking of “The chicken and the egg” concept. Neat
Beautiful
Drunk you is probably overconfident in your own understanding. Personal anecdote though, in reagrd to me solving math problems. I loved being able to finally solve the problem, and it seemed “so simple” after so much time had been spent, mulling it over. And then sober me would realize how wrong I was because of a ‘simple’ mistake that drunk me made. I loved the “Ureka!” moments, but sober me would usually wreck it the next day
But again, that’s my personal experience. Would love to know that’s not your own experience. But just a friendly forewarning of “check your work more than twice”
What RSS feeds (preferably without needing an account like NY Times) would people like to recommend? I recently set up Feeder on my phone and have been curating it
And is there a way to bypass soft-paywalls with an app like feeder?
BAAABBAAAYYY! I compare you to a kiss from a deer on the rein
