Yeah I mean am I surprised Maine is too high off libertarian nonsense to understand how to be genuinely progressive? No… but they found a way to make it work here and I support that. How do you argue against this? You can’t.

The barrier to solar in my area is that half the companies seem scammy and that you’re leasing this stuff for 10-20 years and so many people are 5-10 years in and have leaking around the solar panels and they can’t get the solar company to even look at their roof. If they have some kind of way to avoid or work with that last one, this could absolutely work.
