    From a different article:

The Trevor Project operates a 24-hour hotline and digital crisis services for LGBTQ+ young people, reaching about 250,000 individuals annually.

Until last summer, it also staffed a specialized option within the 988 National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline tailored for LGBTQ+ callers.

That program ended in July after the Trump administration halted targeted federal funding, costing the organization about $25 million.
