The heavy censorship needed to convey completely basic words is probably another good indicator.

If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, you’re the asshole.

Lemmy is federated, there is no central authority, if other servers and communities are banning you en masse then perhaps you need to do a little self reflection.

        • That’s a great shield against criticism of censorship yet it fails to address the fundamental issue. Censorship of legal speech is still censorship of legal speech.

I always engage in good faith presenting logical arguments. I only get banned when I argue against certain ideological ideas. That’s not asshole behaviour that’s clear obvious censorial bias towards a specific ideology.

So find an instance that agrees with your ideology or spin one up yourself.

This is the fediverse, no one is required to interact with you and getting banned from an instance isn’t censorship. At most it’s de-platforming, so build your own platform. That way you can spew whatever ideology you want to and no on can ban you. Your instance will get defederated, but that also isn’t censorship, it’s people freely not associating with you.

You could also try introspection to see exactly what is so reprehensible about your views that keep getting you banned, but I think we both know that isn’t going to happen.
