minus-squareSunshine (she/her)@lemmy.caOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·edit-22 months ago@poVoq@slrpnk.net Looks like a job for fediverse mythbusters. Update: the comments halt on the piefed end however lemmy users can see the followup comments.
minus-squareRimu@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·edit-22 months agoThere is an idea where if a comment is rejected by PieFed it would automatically send a Delete activity to remove that comment from the sending instance. This method could be used for all kinds of blocks, not just locked comments. It will be confusing for Lemmy users tho.
minus-squareRimu@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·2 months agoI didn’t test it with Lemmy. It uses the same Lock activity that Lemmy uses for posts so it would be easy for them to add.
minus-squareflamingos-cant (hopepunk arc)@feddit.ukMlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·2 months agoDoes it lock recursively? There’s some discussion about that on the Lemmy issue for this.
minus-squareRimu@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·2 months agoYes when a comment is locked all it’s children are locked too.
