I’m sure they are. This is just a fun little community building thing. I’m not a web dev but I can’t imagine implementing an emoji into comments wouldn’t take all day.
It’s a Lemmy feature which we just weren’t using yet. And what would you deem useful enough @thantik@lemmy.world?
I mean, literally not including this feature would be pretty useful in not reverting our means of communication down to, essentially, hieroglyphs. Would be cool if Lemmy didn’t take all the stupid features from Reddit too.
