You don’t like glitter in your brain?
What’s the proprietary alternative?
The only kind of void I need in my life.
Humans don’t explode in vacuum.
I don’t know how you think allergies work but if it was actually an allergic reaction it probably went something like immune system encounters a foreign never seen before substance and overreacts. Alternatively he was just the unlucky guy who didn’t clean his suit enough and breathed in more of it than the others.
zaphod@sopuli.xyzto Science Memes@mander.xyz•Order of magnitude is a hell of a drugEnglish1·21 days agoThat’s kind of the beauty here, you only get a relative error (0.069%) and it’s mostly insignificant to the point of being smaller than your fabrication tolerances. This should also be the case for fibre optics. The error can’t really add up, you scale everything to a multiple of the wavelength and you calculate the wavelength using the speed of light.

Idk, when I behave like this people call me toxic.

I keep repeating this to everyone who’s listening and add that cats have clown feet.
zaphod@sopuli.xyzto Games@lemmy.world•How do you keep track of what games you have played over the years?English5·1 month agoI keep a list in a plain text file. It has sections for each year and one section for games I’m interested in. The list used to be on paper and I’m considering going back to that.
This. Most classes in uni allowed us to have a limited number of cheat sheets and after writing them I rarely used them. Open book exams are a different beast though.
But PTFE is used for more than nonstick pans.
