It was a fun game, I enjoyed it. Didn’t realize games needed to be accurate treatises on revolutionary political theory to be good.

Mad Max… In spaaaace!
I tried to hold out, but for my current phone I prioritized camera quality over headphone jack. I definitely use the cameras more than the headphones.
With that being said, those two features are essentially mutually exclusive. Good cameras are a “flagship” feature, whereas lacking headphone jacks are also a flagship “feature.”
The only exception is Sony, which unfortunately is very overpriced.
or they get around it by not making it a “login” bonus but “do this really quick and easy daily quest” bonus.
I think someone also recreated the entire SC1 campaign as custom SC2 maps
it doesn’t even work in my region, so it’s a no go.
I like the idea of the fairphone. And it would be nice if you could upgrade individual modules, like the camera, battery, or screen. But that would probably require way higher costs in support
yep. I don’t think the Pixel 8’s AI capabilities are much more powerful than the 7. Most of the new features they advertised are offloaded to the servers.
I only remember Syndicate from Bullfrog
Blizzard. Without Activision.
I was thinking of getting a Pixel if the price dropped enough, but I just can’t live with a shitty battery no matter the price. That’s one of my dealbreakers. OP12 is potentially my next phone though.
Speaking of “tossing money in the ocean”, tell me again how much money “literally everyone else” has spent so far on their rockets? Like, how’s the Boeing Starliner doing? How much money is the SLS program saving taxpayers?
It’s not just that temperature sensors really aren’t things people use daily. It’s that this temperature sensor also really sucks.
It’s slow, inconvenient, inaccurate, and short range. If you actually needed to measure temperature, a $15 IR gun does the job far, far better.
Paying over $1000 for a 4G phone… gotta think about that one
I think the modem is the same anyway. At most they may have changed some behaviour with software but it’s still crap.
no small efficiency cores… really have to wonder what the battery life will be with this.
Then again, maybe simply running the large core at a lower speed will end up being the same efficiency as a small core? Qualcomm is also cutting down on small cores for the Gen 3…
because it costs $999.
it only does what a <$500 phone can do, the the only reason pixels can “do what no other phones do” is not capability but artificial restrictions.
surprisingly this is how people defend the new pixel 8 pro.
$999 for mid-range performance? “Well I don’t play games anyway so it’s fine”
So much for the brilliant AI-specialized Tensor processor
It’s basically just a mediocre processor that offloads interesting things to the mothership.
You totally can. I missed the part about the videos taking overnight to process, so there’s apparently no reason to upload them immediately.
It would still suck for people with data caps at home, like rural Americans or people who just use cellular hotspot to serve as home internet
The real joke is that the can’t bring back an empty capsule.
Boeing, in their infinite wisdom, decided to disable the software that would allow Starliner to undock by itself.
Despite it already having done this during its second test run.
So as of now, at least one astronaut MUST be inside the capsule to get this $6 billion space barnacle detached from the space station. They can’t even send up the “rescue” ship because there wouldn’t be any place for it to dock.
