Even with steam deck verified I was skeptical but I finally made the jump to linux on my gaming pc and installed starfield and it booted right up, didn’t notice any difference it’s amazing. I imagined I was going to have to go into steam settings and do stuff and keep retrying but nope just worked right away

I just had a baby and I’m already planning how to get her to help me run my home lab as a way to get her to figure all this stuff out, maybe run some game servers or do a little local blog. Then I think about how I can teach her to solder a hand wired keyboard or maybe build a little fpv drone with me and then I start to remember that kids sometimes just don’t like what you do so you never know what you could get them interested in or not or if you will each have the time when they’re older

To me that was oblivion, when I got skyrim I just felt burnt out because it felt so similar but at the same time missing some of the stuff I liked like the custom spells etc, then fallout 4 came out and I sort of shelved it but once I got into it I spent soo many hours on it. Maybe it’s like cod now where if you skip a few years it’s fun again but not every single game because they just aren’t that different
But none of these are real, in the real world IT won’t touch your issue unless you create a ticket, then when you do they just never do anything about it anyway

at the end of the day they are going to make the game they want, whether we like it or not, microsoft is now involved as well so who knows how that is going to affect them with their decisions
This reminds me of the time I went camping with my cousin, we picked a campsite that is about halfway for both of us and when we get there and setup this blue jay comes flying by and lands on our table and my cousin and his wife are going crazy, they do bird watching as a hobby and were stoked to see the blue jay.
I felt so odd because we have so many at our place to the point they lay eggs in our bushes and they wake us up with their calls and it’s weird to think that only a few hours away from the campsite where my cousin lives they don’t have any
