That’s part of the fun. Sometimes you get someone else’s fuel points too. It’s kind of like gambling whenever you fuel up. Over the long term it probably evens out, or at least I feel like I get a fuel discount pretty often with it so I don’t worry about it. Worse case I’m helping someone else save a few bucks, it doesn’t feel like a problem.
It is correct that the worlds of science and medicine have not studied female bodies as well as male bodies. It’s not as bad as it used to be but I think it’s often true that things like recommended doses for drugs are based on assuming “a woman is a small man” rather than actual drug trials involving a significant number of women or any other kind of real data.
I agree though, if they are making up data to support their claims they have allowed their ideology to corrupt their integrity. It seems like an editor really should have fact checked this before publishing but maybe that’s not how it works these days.
I actually rewatched it a few years ago and it wasn’t awful.
I’m looking forward to it. Yes, it’s dumb they are going for the third reboot but at least it kind of fits the existing story for it to all happen again. An Earth2 reboot would be awesome and I would be a lot more happy with that. New IP would be even better, but also probably have a higher chance of not being good or finding an audience. I just hope the new show makes it for a full run even if it’s not great. I’m so sick of shows that die after the first season or two.
Make sure to get at least one scratching post. It’s much better than waiting for them figure out which furniture makes a good scratching post.
They are supposed to be working on a complete rewrite of the Linux client that’s coming out soon.
I think this is for the best, there are some seriously disturbed people posting on Lemmygrad. I saw comments cheering on and celebrating the Hamas attack and talking about how they hoped the people who were kidnapped get tortured. Whatever your politics, that is super fucked up and not “legitimate discourse”.
I’m an actual person who pays $5 a month for kagi and have recommended it to people. I’ve never heard of them selling user data to data brokers and a quick search isn’t finding anything about it, can you point me to some evidence?
Not an expert but my first thought is check DNS. I would make sure both devices are using the same DNS resolver and are resolving the hostname correctly.
I pay for mine, not sure how it differs from the free version but you can turn logging off, or if you have logging on you can specific how long to store logs and what jurisdiction to keep them in (I keep mine for a few months in Switzerland). You of course have to place some trust in NextDNS the company that they are actually doing what they claim to do as far as respecting user privacy but I trust them more than Google and Cloudflare, which is what I was using previously.
