And he’s right. The Autopilot has not improved for the last 5 or so years. It rather has gotten worse. Phantom brakes are a nightmare and truly dangerous, the wind shield wiper is highly erratic and the lane departure warning is often just plain wrong and mostly annoying.
I really regret buying this car. And that is not even counting the disastrous image issues caused by the wannabe-Göbbels that owns the company.
My old Samsung printer can enter a state where it consumes ~100W without doing anything meaningful. It’s not obvious what is wrong, but without power monitoring I would have never realized this.
CO2 levels raise astonishingly fast when people are present in a room.
I have mice visiting my garage and I can tell when by looking at the motion sensor history.
My uninsulated roof stays frost free even at -15°C.
I run a Proxmox cluster with 2x Dreamquest pro, each with 2x10TB had in an IcyBox, plus an external Raspberry Pie with a 12 TB disk for backup.
The disks are refurbished to keep the costs down but run in a mirror setup. So if one fails, I’m fine. I use an old laptop as a 3rd node and the main nodes replicate their load, so I‘m fine even when one node is dead.

This legislation will achieve the opposite and paves the way for batteries that are just crap and need replacement after 12 or 18 months. The companies have no motivation to make better batteries, protect them better against premature degradation.
Sounds good, but generates a lot of trash.
It almost looks like Reddit is trying to commit suicide in the fastest possible way.
I still have an account there. But I will delete it the moment the Apollo goes dark.
Looks interesting. Definitely needs a mobile client to become a viable alternative.
