This seems like a good course of action compared to how most breaches are handled.

Depending on your transcoding needs you might not even need it for that.
I have a proxbox with a R5 4600G even under extreme loads the stock cooler is fine. Honestly once prox is setup you don’t need a GPU. The video output of proxmox is just a terminal (Debian) so as long as things are running normally you can do everything through the web interface even without the gpu. I do highly recommend a second GPU (either a G series CPU or a cheap GPU) if you want to try proxmox GPU passthrough. I’ve done it and can say it is extremely difficult to get working reliably with just a single GPU.
I’ll freely admit to skimming a bit but yes proxmox can run trunas inside of it. Proxmox is powerful but might be a little frustrating to learn at first. For example by default proxmox expects to use the boot drive for itself and it’s not immediately clear how to change that to use that disk for other things.
The noctua dh-15 is overkill for that cpu btw unless you’re doing an overclock which I wouldn’t recommend for server use. What’s your plans for the 1060? If using proxmox you’ll want to get one of the “G” series AMD CPUs do that proxmox binds to the apu and then you should be able to do gpu passthrough on the 1060.
Clearly the universe decided you needed to listen to Freebird lol
Also use EAC on Linux with wine.
Can’t wait for copilot for Linux!
P.s I definitely can wait.
I was planning to use today to catch up on a project and go to the hardware store to buy bolts…then I remembered it’s black Friday and I’d like to avoid that cancer.
Early smart fortwo EV had a sodium battery. On the topic of flammability it’s worth noting that LifePo4 is also non flammable and has higher durability than li-ion while also not having the same toxic metals in addition to lithium.
In the past the challenge with sodium batteries was keeping them warm enough to actually work.
Oh sick this will be sweet.
Not a pixel fold user, but I do have a zfold 4 and just wanted to say I personally love the outer display and use it about 85% of the time. I’d really love to hear from others that said it was unusable, why they think that? I have huge hands and previously owned many big phones but I absolutely love the candy bar form factor of the outer display. For me the inner display is useful for content but not nearly as useful for a text, a scroll fest, or most of my usual smartphone tasks. It’ll take a lot to get me to go back to a non folding device…maybe a good Linux phone would.
I prefer mullvad but I had to stop using it on my personal devices due to it getting blocked on certain networks. For my server it’s perfectly fine. They don’t offer a way to do auto pay and buying credits can be a bit weird but that’s the only thing I’d say is a minor downside.
Mozilla vpn is actually mullvad but is also about twice the price.
If you want to automate look into the “Wikiarr” but to answer your question I think many of us are just data hoarders. I try to delete stuff I’ve watched but I also tend to keep stuff that I’ve had trouble finding good versions of. I am also building a large music library (currently around 200-250gb) and that’s entirely around avoiding crappy streaming services. Most of this collection I either already owned (used to rip ipods id repair for people) or used soulseek/other tools to build.
Personally I’d replace that 10 year old drive as it’s probably limited on remaining life even if only lightly used.
This is just bifacial and it’s been on the market for a little bit already.
Seriously, I’m interested in one potentially as a Linux phone (I think the FP4 is supported) but I’m not about to fork money over to have a terrible experience.
