Hard disagree. It’s a lot easier and faster to understand a function that is prefaced with a small line of text explaining what it does rather than trying to figure it out yourself.

It is. Another indicator you get is a status icon next to each file telling you if the file is permanently or temporarily (meaning it will get auto-deleted locally if you don’t use it) dowloaded to your pc or if it’s only on the cloud.

Oh, and you also get a prompt when you delete a file letting you know that it will be deleted from onedrive as well but it will still be in the recycling bin for a while. The only way to not get that prompt is to tick a box to not get reminded again.

Microsoft software has a lot of flaws but this isn’t one of them.

Firstly, no, it’s not gone forever. It remains in your onedrive recycling bin for a month. Secondly, that behavior makes sense. One drive is a mirror of your synced folders. If you just want to not have the file downloaded in your computer, just right click on the file and select “free up space”.

Not really, no. There’s a releases section where the developer can upload an exe for example but it’s really not easy to tell that that’s where you need to go if you just want to use the program/script, etc and you’re not a tech savvy person.

So yeah, the UI could be improved on that front.

On several occasions I wanted to play a game for a while but did not want to sit at my desk to play so I ended up not playing at all. Now, with my steam deck, I often play for 15 minutes to about 1 hour or a bit more from my couch or my bed next to my gf and it’s super easy and enjoyable.

I mean, Android Auto runs on your phone and just transmits the video/audio to your car so yeah. It’s just like any other app dropping support for older versions of the OS.

Not really, no. You can use an optical or coaxial output from your mb as well and you don’t need drivers for that.

I just checked and it’s not thaaat close but yeah, it’s not a deal braker. From what I saw, the 7800xt consumes about 60w more than a 4070 so nvidia’s certainly better.

Except that most of nvidia’s features are borderline gimmicks or will not have a long lifespan. DLSS will eventually die and we’ll all use FSR just like it happened with gsync vs freesync. Raytracing is very taxing still for all cards in all brands to be worth it. RTX voice (just like AMD noise supression) is not something that useful (I don’t even want it). What else do you have that could make an nvidia card “superior”? The only thing I can think of is that the most recent nvidia cards are way more energy efficient than amd’s.
