Yeah, agreed. Span = bridge. It’s gotta be contiguous across all timezones. Otherwise it’s a fact that France exists in many timezones, but not all.
Still an impressive graphic.
Find me on Mastodon too.

I’m in the same situation - started with the same printer, put money and parts into it to get it to be reliable, and now I can just login to Octoprint and send something with 99% of prints just working. I wipe the build plate down, blast it with a few squeezes of canned air, and it just works.
But now these kids and their Bambus and multi-color print abilities…get off my lawn. Seriously, kids, you’re in my light and I’m trying to get this hotend adjusted…
Same issues here. I love GOS but I need basic things like SMS/MMS/RCS to work, and right now they just don’t.
Backblaze is a great backup solution. They publish drive stats and even show you the hardware they use.

Gonna do some research/reading about this and I’m being objective.
Thanks for sharing and replying so quickly.
Would you mind posting a link where I can read more about this?
Try using 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 as the external DNS in your router for testing. Does it work then?
Also, you may have DNS cached somewhere. You can flush your Windows DNS cache by typing ipconfig /flushdns
in a command prompt.

I use those for my ham radios and other equipment. Great for that stuff, but a bit heavy for the carry-on I would think. Maybe I’m wrong.
Thanks everyone for your input! I’m weirdly excited about using new luggage lol.
From what I researched, the average lifespan of HDs and SSDs is no more than 10 years.
Is this running or not running though? I think a bunch of flash chips, properly stored, would last quite a while
That’s awesome! A pal of mine hung out with him afterwards and got him a Spotted Cow (beer from New Glarus, WI) and he was more relaxed. I don’t fault anyone who speaks publicly. They have the honor and privilege to be up there. Also, we all have bad days. Some of us have the ability to take care of our stuff in private.
I saw Dr. Tyson speak at UW Madison some years ago. He was engaging but didn’t want anything to do with questions. Every question he took he’d pause and say something like “I’ve covered that before. Read my book.” or in one case “That’s a dumb question. Next?” to a very valid question about stardust.
I’d listen to him speak again but man, don’t see him on a bad day.
You can host overseas and use a proxy for hosting. I mostly don’t worry about it though because I don’t do anything illegal.
Use encryption if you are concerned.
Hope you got buns hon.
I’ve used Hyper-V and in fact moved away from ESXi long ago. VMWare had amazing features but we could not justify the ever-increasing costs. Hyper-V can do just about anything VMWare can do if you know Powershell.
Janeway should have just miscarried.
