No, Signal announced they won’t implement interoperable messaging.
Classic Morph move. Now where’s the real sun 🤔
Be the change you want to see!
When someone sends a message to another WhatsApp user, their device creates a different session key for each device the receiver is using, thus telling the sender how many devices the receiver is using.
So like any other service using the Signal protocol, or am I wrong?
If you don’t mind paying for the service, there’s Mullvad.
Hmm works for me. But indeed it is a similar one
It’s free.
But only for Cloudflare customers
Such signatures are so annoying. Who in the history ever read this and thought “yeah, you know what I’ll get an iPhone for email”? Stupid preset.
Spamming pornographic depictions of minors
It will probably be part of the next release.
really cool (or rather cute)!
They route your traffic, hence they can see all IP addresses you communicate with. With a reverse lookup you can then usually find out the address too.
The one from your ISP. Your ISP can see your traffic anyway, so you gain nothing by using a third-party DNS server.
Qwant (but I hate all search engines nowadays)
If you do only web and mail you could consider a web space instead of a VPS. For example Netcup.eu offers packets which include email, Ionos offers one mail account per user account too I think.
Also as you said self hosting emails is quite some pain because Gmail, Microsoft etc blacklist small mail servers rather quickly. Depending on your motivation you could also use Protonmail or mailbox.org as mail provider with your own domain.
Anyway, Debian is a solid choice due to long support times.
As long as there is no monthly fee I think that would be a great idea to generate some revenue for the upkeep of the service besides donations. And if it contains the beehaw.org domain it would be a nice ad too ^^
Omfg why can’t I figure out why this does not work. Help me pls
