The remorhaz page gives you the relationship to frost worms as part of a “Related Creatures” sidebar, while the frost worm only has “Additional Lore”. I assume this means that the two are related, but no one in universe actually knows for sure, since the remorhaz takes centuries to metamorph into the frost worm. Looking at the Pathfinder Wiki, I can’t find much more that goes into the details of either creature.

3·1 month agoAll of the rules are actually freely and officially available online here https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx including every monster officially released, usually with a picture. You’d probably be better off buying at least the core rulebooks to actually read, though.
Also, Dawn of the Frogs only has 4 pregenerated characters, so if you have more friends than that it might get a little complicated.
So to actually answer your question, it depends on how much work you want to do and what your definition of “official materials” is.

5·1 month agoIf you’re willing to try pathfinder, you could go with Pathfinder Game Night: Dawn of the Frogs. It’s a 3 session adventure that comes with everything you need to run a game: maps, pregenerated characters, a set of dice, some standees for you and the enemies, and an adventure book explaining the rules and the adventure you’re on.

I’m not too sure how cryptography works, but I’m pretty sure it’s fine if other people have your public key. I’m reasonably sure it’s actually required in a system with public and private keys.

Polygon’s Unrivaled series, specifically Bowser’s military hierarchy. It wasn’t originally about kobolds if the title of the video didn’t give it away.

2·3 months agoWhy would you not want someone to stop drunk driving? I get that we hate cops, but we should all really hate drunk driving more.
Which one? Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007), Modern Warfare 2 (2009), Modern Warfare 3 (2011), Modern Warfare (2019), Modern Warfare II (2022), or Modern Warfare III (2023)?
That has an altogether different kind of solution !piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com
Then I’d know you aren’t playing Pathfinder.

4·3 months agoI do not want to administrate any system in my free time.
Do you have a computer you use at home? How much time exactly do you think it takes to manage a personal computer?
I have a store interface where I can buy and install games with pressing a few buttons.
Seriously, look into a steam deck. The interface is very console-like and you can have it on a normal desktop if you want. Or don’t, you already seem pretty convinced that you only want a console.

pathfinder@ttrpg.network•Does Stay down proccing on an enemy standing up prevent Reactive Strike of another character from working on that same enemy? Does Topple Foe from Marshal archetype attempt to Trip anEnglish
1·4 months agohttps://2e.aonprd.com/Search.aspx?q=disrupt&include-actions=Reaction&display=short
Reading through some other examples, it’s definitely a mixed bag of wording, with some saying “attempts” or “begins” or otherwise implying before the action is complete, and some saying after.
I’ll stand by my original claim that the correction should be “attempts to Stand” though, because reactions occur after the trigger is complete, you can’t disrupt an action after it’s happened.

pathfinder@ttrpg.network•Does Stay down proccing on an enemy standing up prevent Reactive Strike of another character from working on that same enemy? Does Topple Foe from Marshal archetype attempt to Trip anEnglish
2·4 months agoReactions: These actions can be used even when it’s not your turn. You only get one reaction per encounter round, and you can use it only when its specific trigger is fulfilled. Often, the trigger is another creature’s action.
Trigger: A prone foe within your reach Stands
You have ways of keeping your foes down. Attempt an Athletics check against the triggering foe’s Fortitude DC. On a success, the action is disrupted, causing the creature to remain prone. On a critical success, the creature also can’t Stand until its next turn.
I think the trigger for Stay Down! should be attempts to stand, especially if you look at other disrupting reactions like Disruptive Stare, Reactive Interference, or Miraculous Intervention. Reactions trigger after the action is fulfilled, so the enemy can’t remain prone if they’re already standing. So I’d say Stay Down denies anyone else a reactive strike.
Topple Foe would have to trigger after a reactive strike, so that works fine.

I remember the first Division game, it didn’t even come close to predicting the pandemic. Some nebulous enemy group decided to spread a super plague bioweapon through cash on/before christmas. It also “wasn’t political” if you believe Ubisoft.
Don’t know much about the sequel, though.
