I grew up hating tomatoes until we started growing our own. It’s like it’s an entirely different food
Also, you can’t just look at the amount of food produced, but the amount produced vs waste, storage and transportation costs. Most things in the garden can stay ripe on the plant for a while and can be picked as needed.
Anecdotally, we were supplying about 80% of our fruit and veg needs on our own garden plot on our standard city residential lot with a family of 7. And we were literally giving tomatoes, citrus and zucchini away as fast as we could.
It’s called the A-10
I think your premise is a little off. Tanks generally are trained to operate alongside infantry in what is called combined arms tactics. This allows the tank to do its job while the infantry can protect it, and vice versa. This is especially useful in urban environments. Combine infantry with tanks, IFVs and support vehicles and you have a flexible and formidable force.
On top of that, rather than making t different anks for specific jobs, we tend to prefer making them multirole. This is the current trend with most land and air platforms. Notice there really aren’t a lot of designated attack planes anymore. We tend to prefer multirole airframes that can act in an air to air and CAS/ground attack role. It adds flexibility and simplifies the supply lines and training. The Abrams, and other nations’ MBTs are perfectly capable as main battle tanks as well as infantry tanks. No need for a second type of tanks with different parts and needs.
I don’t think that was just a fart
The ice cream cones that bite back.
Maybe a red-shoulder hawk? They look similar, but with… red shoulders.
I’m pretty sure we used this textbook in my highschool chemistry class. Or at least it also used that illustration.
I used to have an Ender. It was great, very few problems. Ended up needing to sell it while I traveled for residency, then ended up getting a soval. I like it even more. Set up was super easy, prints are great. Only issue I’ve had was needing to replace the hot end because I boogered it up and completely encased it in plastic. On the plus side, changing the hot end was fast and easy.
Sugar itself isn’t bad, it’s the fact that we are consuming far too much of it. The sugar in fruit is far less concentrated and attached to a lot more nutrients than a lot of sources of processed simple sugars. I’m fact, fructose (the sugar found in fruits) does not suppress hunger like sucrose (table sugar).
Exactly this. It sounds like OP wants it to be an instructional aid. It does not need to be sterile, the people practicing need to practice how to don sterile gloves, then drape and prep the site sterilly and insert the catheter correctly.
I don’t think realistic texture is all that important. Most of the practice is more about the technique and maintaining sterility throughout.
Not for that, but I printed a model of the brachial plexus to teach about nerve blocks. I also made a small section of a spine to explain epidurals and subarachnoid blocks to patients.
