A friendly reminder to everyone: there is a fan project, part 1 and 2 updated to run on modern systems. They have their own page, the full games can be downloaded from there, and they just work. Just Google the title and fan update.

Oh man, I hope so!
I prefer their games over anything Bethesda/Diablo/whatever stuff.
Their games, as clunky and weird they sometimes are, have soul and passion. I’m playing Risen 2 at the moment, and I just love the world. So much too see, every corner has something to find, even if it’s just a bottle of Rum.
I lowered the difficulty, and I were able to kill bigger enemies with the weapon of my choice. But they became bullet sponges. There’s no fun in that. I too prefer 2016, I like my shotgun.
Rated PG. It can work (The old Mortal Kombat movie), but this looks like crap.
It’s Retro Man Cave! I had no idea he had a new name, no wonder I have not seen him in such a long time!
Depends. I enjoy a card game or sudoku on mobile.
But for real games I use my PC. I don’t understand people going crazy about the steam deck too. Who in their right mind enjoys for example Cyberpunk on a tiny screen, that’s like watching Dune on your phone. What’s the point?
Thank you! I have about 5 games on steam, so I haven’t installed it on my system. The only interesting one is Doom 2016, so for a moment I thought I could download the installer as a backup without having to use steam anymore in the future when I do want to play it again. Would have been nice. Thanks for clarifying!
So no installer then? Or can you download that separately?
So it’s possible to download the installer through steam, store it somewhere and ten years later I can just start the installer without having steam on my system?
Asking out of curiosity, I don’t use steam, I never thought that would be possible?
I had this on my first installation a few years ago, but then never again. I’m using Pro.
That Gabe that made not owning shit you paid for popular?
Don’t harass Ubisoft. /s
Ignore him.
Forgive me, but if there ever was a niche scenario this is it.
I tried to migrate to Microsoft, it didn’t work, support wasn’t any help, now it’s gone. Bought it in beta in 2011.
Contacted support again, they told me to purchase it again.
Nope. I found other ways.
Fuck these assholes.

From the article: A third idea is that they weren’t objects at all. Palomar Observatory isn’t too far from the New Mexico deserts where nuclear weapons testing occurred. Radioactive dust from the tests could have contaminated the photographic plates, creating bright spots on some images and not others. Given similar vanishings seen on other photographic plates of the 1950s, this seems quite possible.
Thank you very much!!
Thank you very much, that was the info I was looking for!!
Didn’t he say in the video it’s a one time fee? Or does the fee provide additional features, and the basic app is free?
I meant for the app, but it might be a good idea to pick up Nebula as well, I was thinking about that for a long time. Thanks!
Nonono, that’s it!!! I totally missed the link :)
After fiddling with my original CDs back two years I gave up and installed these! Wide-screen, stable, high resolutions, perfect! I was so happy fans decided to get them running again!
