Which domains are least likely to ban you for equivalating using statistics to cull animals to eugenics and trepanning?
I think .world is slowly transitioning towards reddit.shitty. in how heavy handed the moderation is. Interesting that comments advocatin for the literal murder of cops is allowed but saying “13 % of dogs commit 90% of crime” is a bannable offense.
Which domains have the least arbitrary moderation tools?
Also: Cops are generally pigs.
Or: To put things on topic. .World has made relatively unilateral decisions regarding the health of the domain. Which domains have a more democratic regard for what is and isn’t appropriate? If lemmy is going to be a more poorly paid Reddit, I’d rather go to the place with more than 1 new commented-on post per hour.
Sure, but I’m a lurker. That’s why I asked if there was a community that has “regular keyboard” posts that have decent discussion instead? Not here to change the sub, it just seems the most appropriate place to find a relevant community.
Typing one handed? That is not weird in the context of a strange two-part keyboard.
I see your point, though, as the OP. I don’t really have any interest in polys. If the sub is mostly interested in those, I’m not going to try and change that.
Because I’m ignorant.
It just seems like the polydactyl keyboards make it higher up on my page than traditional keyboards, and I have little interest in them atm.
Not trying to change the habits of the sub. Mostly just curious if there was a sub that was more trad-keyboard oriented.
😉
But also, I don’t like relying on hotkeys for usability.
Don’t think I’m shitting on polydactyl keyboards. Maybe I’d like it.
But they’re two non-interlocking pieces. Idk, I’d like to be able to try one without committing to buying one.
It seems like it would be really awkward to use one-handed. I know for gaming you wouldn’t exactly need the right-hand side, but still.
Is there a mechanical keyboard sub that posts more normal keyboards? Is there really such a large group here that doesn’t use mice?
It’s almost like scientists are people, too.
Is smoking weed on my private property in Idaho unethical?
Or, even more fun, heres a few fun ways you can be a diabolical metastasized mass of human unethicalness:
Singing on a public beach in Florida while wearing a swimsuit.
Falling asleep while getting a haircut in Florida.
Eating an orange while taking a bath in California.
Playing cards on a Sunday in Alabama.
Having upholstered furniture not sold for outdoor use on your patio in Boulder, Colorado.
So yeah.
Your confusion about the litigous nature of the US is naive, and your gotcha is dumb and immature. Yes, you can sue for anything. No, that doesn’t mean instance owners should quake in their boots, but CSAM, and copyright issues are the quickest way to end up in a legally dubious place where the laws don’t matter morals are made up. People have been on the hook for the retail price of every single viewer of an illegal stream, into millions and millions of dollars.
The “this is stupid why won’t people take life-ending risks so I can talk about piracy when I could easily make my own instance, take the risk myself, and talk about piracy.”
… the ciminals?
And Hitler was baited into invading Poland by the Jews, I assume?
Great. Even better that they decided to actually enforce that only girls with big tits count as women and everything else is a child. That is an entirely rational and reasonable approach.
Classic mod.
