mdBook is also really cool
Oh that’s actually awesome thanks!
That looks good, thanks
Great work, this is the biggest issue that Lemmy has a the moment, I hope the admins will be able to set this up easily and start to take back all the preventative measures.
I read “how can I score an invite to these panties” lmao
I just realized that about September-December, that’s mindblowing and hilarious
Going to a hybrid would technically be easy it’s true, but very few people know Kotlin so no one would write it, not even the ones who know it since others need to be able to read it.
I’m not nearly high enough hierarchically to call a shot like this or be able to continually enforce it. I usually always ask my team leader for his opinion even if I’m simply adding some kind of dependency.
That’s not possible for one person to do out of their own personal preferences in a large scale enterprise application.
It would be a project wide migration with tons of people working on it and testing afterwards.
I also think Mojo will be quite a strong player everywhere
I’m talking mainly about serious backends that perform complex logic, not just CRUD operations
I really like Kotlin, I would much prefer using it at work instead of Java
BA/Manager/Scrum Master has been on vacation for some time and it’s eye opening how much the team vibe has changed.
We need his business domain expertise, but we could easily go without his constant anxiety and "how’s the task going?"s. It will be done when I say it to you for fuck’s sake.
Lemmy has been quite depressing for me lately, thanks for making a difference
It can often get tense with them and I don’t agree with some of their takes, but they are definitely a voice to consider seriously and worth arguing (in a polite way) with.
Unlike those conservative right echo chambers, most of them are actually educated, historically literate and smart, and they actually provide sources for their claims instead of hand waiving and using every falacy in the book.

It really depends on the area, if someone in the neighbourhood is actively taking care of the strays then they’ll be fine, but we have too many strays in Greece and not enough people who care for them unfortunately. Road killing and poison is a pretty big problem in the cities as well…
As with most OS software, the usual method is by going to the github repo, checking out the README and Contributing guidelines and whatever else the documentation offers in that regard, and then looking through the open issues and see if there’s something you’d like to solve. Sorting by ‘good first issue’ can be helpful too. You should definitely join the Matrix instance so you can ask something if you’re stuck.
i’m stealing this lmao
