I just prefer to paint my models. It’s more fun and doesn’t generate a metric butt ton of waste.

Btw there are videos of people on YouTube melting the poop into silicone moulds using a toaster oven to make key dishes and stuff!

If you get a keyboard that supports QMK/Via etc there’s no such thing as a Mac layout because you can just map the keys as you see fit.

I can’t speak to the K7 specifically, however I bought a Keychron K2 back in 2020 and it got me into the hobby. Solid build quality and still going strong almost four years later (not by me, I’ve gone down the rabbit hole but it is my sons daily driver).

If you search for “3d pen filament” on AliExpress or Amazon you can get smaller quantities (often in multi bags but it’s dirt cheap)

Makes total sense to me. Only the oldest of 3d printing nerds are going to know what Rep rep is. 3dPrintopia does what it says on the tin.

Polymaker (specifically Polyterra for PLA). I occasionally use Prusament when I get freebies from Printables but it’s far too expensive for general printing.

I’ve been struggling on whether to upgrade my pi3 (which can’t compile firmware for ESPHome without disabling addons) to a Pi4 or just get a Nuc. Somehow this is cheaper than both! Will be picking one up in October when my local supplier has them!

Look at Keychron. Wide selection of boards. Pretty solid build quality and reasonably priced!
