Sorry for the late reploy, but this is what my KODI with trakt looks like on opening the app and the movie section is the same. All widgets are driven by my Trakt account
A lot will also depend on your personal usage. Whilst I agree wholeheartedly that Stremio UX is much better that Kodi, out of the box, the one thing that keeps me with Kodi is the fact that it has far superior Trakt integration.
I will admit that Stremio is getting better it’s still a far cry from Kodi with Trakt integration and it’s something I rely heavily on.
That said if Trakt is not your thing then Stremio is probably a better option.
Also, if you’re using RD either with Kodi or Stremio there’s no real need to use a VPN as well as traffic is passed over HTTPS so the ISP only sees that you’re connecting to RD not what you’re doing.
The only saving grace with Samsung washing machine was it had two years of warranty and after about the 6th repair in just over 14 months the retailer swapped ot for another brand.
Typing this on a S24 Ultra and have numerous tvs but will shy away from any elctro domestics in the future.

Thanks for this. I’m on android 14 on Pixel 7 and had no idea you could pin items in the share tray.
Now I’ve been able to pin my two most frequently shared contacts and my most two used apps.
Your pain has been my gain so thanks but sorry.
I’m not quite sure why, but I would feel somewhat uncomfortable swiping against a phone.
How can you be 100% sure it’s not being used to clone your card details.
It’s a completely illogical way of thinking because it happens with normal POS machines anyway so I truly can’t explain my irrationality.
Great more extensions, but still no tabbed mode for tablets and larger screen devices… /s
And the linked website androidpolice also block adblockers 🤷
Headquartered in the US so I wouldn’t guarantee it.
This was against Google specifically but I would imagine it would hold up against any US based search engine they felt someone was using.
Vivaldi if you want a chromium privacy experience. Not fully open source but works well, has desktop sync and a good tablet UI which is my biggest reason for not using FF.
I only have a tablet and a phone and until FF creates a viable tablet UI I’m staying away.
This is why I use Smartube on my android TV and revanced/NewPipe on my phone.
The few times I’ve witnessed naked YouTube it’s made be realise that if any of the sources mentioned stop working then I’m simply not going to use YouTube.
To be fair as a backup I’ve almost never used it, but I travel quite a bit for work so it gets used when I’m travelling so there’s never a risk of sharing IPs on RD.
AllDebrid, a similar service to RealDebrid.
This is what I also have AD, as backup and when I’m travelling for work.
I keep RD just for the house.
Not really and some would argue that from a local network perspective HTTPS is preferable.
The main difference is that HTTPS routes through a standard port so gets “lost” in all other Https traffic whereas TLS uses a distinct port so whilst it’s encrypted you would be able to see at the local level that you’re using DNS over TLS but not what you’re doing.
I use two across different devices.
Both offer DNS over TLS and both are privacy focused which was why I decided to use them.
Thanks Google /s
Now that podcasts have migrated to YouTube music , which isn’t available in my location, I’ve lost access to podcasts via Google.
In fairness I don’t use Google podcasts anyway because it was a really poor podcast app but the swap will suck for people who do use it and don’t have access to YTM.
Huawei runs it’s own branch of Android since it lost its ability to offer Google services.
In the case you’re not paying for “Android” but for the tech, whatever you think about it it’s a tech that no-one else is yet doing, least of all Apple which in real terms is still playing catch-up with Android and it’s insistance of a walled garden .
