I’ve been doing the same. Koolada and extra sweetener are just the bane of my existence. I wonder if there’s an e-juice community on Lemmy… I should check.

I don’t think your information is quite right here. A nice (nice as in kind of the best that I’m aware of) pod style vape is about $30. A bigger box mod is under $60 for the ones I like from Vaporesso or Voopoo. Juice is let’s say liberally, $40/mo (120ml). I have been handing down vape mods for almost a dozen years. My buddy vapes a lot and he’s been using my hand-me-down vape for two years and it was 5 years old when I gave it to him. I only buy new because they get a little worn and I like the shiny screen and buttons. Absolutely all still usable. Best I can tell, disposables are about $10 for 3-4 days (according my partner who is annoyingly using disposables for “convenience”). You can get a nice mod and juice every month for the price of disposables from the real world numbers I’m seeing.
Depending on the size of your mom and pop, I think it would do much of it. At least keep things organized to do a demo of QuickBooks or give to an accountant.
Yeah I started using Actual about a week ago. Setup SimpleFin in a few seconds within a couple of minutes actual was auto populated. I ran into a syncing snag and messaged Simple Fin support. They worked with my credit union and I was all good in a couple of hours. Been running smoothly ever since. I really like it. And I don’t have the guilt of not budgeting anymore. Plus, ynab tutorials and advice are basically Actual tutorials.
Money isn’t necessarily a factor. I’ve paid for many services that have made business or operating changes to the point of needing to separate and then there’s WinZip on the other side of things.
It’s rarely tonic even, almost always just soda.
You’re right. I guess it just feels like painting a bursting dam to me. And the shootings are weighing heavier on me. I’m glad we’re doing something positive. It’s just hard to appreciate when my mental image of a school is fear and tragedy. It’s probably a me thing
Please don’t take my comment as a light-hearted jab at the idea of school shooters. But rather, it’s a scathing commentary on fixing something like parking lots when children are dying. Maybe I didn’t do a good job of it but that was my intent.
Plus the kids will have trees to use as cover from shooters. I guess to avoid the packin’ heat Island effect?
Yeah, and like I’ve got DNS through PiHole on the same machine as HA. That particular machine doesn’t always want to come back up after power failure. And I hate going to the basement except to do laundry or bury the bodies. Having constant uptime is just useful.
At the same time, you’ve got a baked in UPS. I’m not sure what the normal power refresh cycle is on them compared to a laptop battery but it seems like it might be negligible?
My cat has hyperthyroidism and needs a pill twice a day. So I feed her 1/4 of a large can of wet food twice a day with the crushed pill mixed in. It’s just enough that she always finishes all of it so she gets all of her meds. And then always kibble out for snacking. Mostly snacking for her.
I assume you’re referring to the clay litter? You probably just want an air purifier. You will have litter smell and dust for a short time is all. The one problem, is that the fine clay dust will make mincemeat out of most purifiers. You’ll want a good one with easily replaceable filters or easy to clean filters. If they’re replaceable, cost is also a factor. Or, you can get two furnace filters and rubber band it onto either side of a box fan and use a smart plug to run it now and then.
It’s a perfect 72 degrees today so I’m having a kalimotxo while grilling.
My Unraid NAS and media server is called Madmartigan. The Proxmox server running Home Assistant, second Pihole instance and my bookmark manager and such is called Willow. My raspberry pi that I use for testing and such is called Brownie.
Farmers. Farmers’ mums.
Same. I took some of the money I was paying for streaming services and paid for usenet and vip service opensubtitles. Black Friday hit and I got more usenet services which is great to have.
I like having the content but I was fine paying for legitimate services until they started trying to fuck me over.
Contemporary corporate is extremely fitting to the Mormon majority.
I use tdarr on my gaming machine and use the higher end GPU to do the work. I also use the trash guide for getting the audio profile I want in my downloads. Then in tdarr, I strip away audio and subtitle languages I don’t want and use the highest quality audio source to add a simple 2 channel audio to make it more compatible for more devices. That way I’m not needlessly transcoding 5.1 Dolby for people who are just watching on TV audio.
Holy hell. 5:30am nose licks come really early. It’s only an hour but it’s an important hour.
