3 months agoYeah. Some are real Marxists. I disagree but respect and appreciate them, they’re welcome here. A huge chunk are fake accounts run by the Kremlin or CCP.

If you’re trying to spread propaganda and silence people you don’t want having a voice.
Nominally, passively, and actively religious.
I don’t want to block them, I want to get them out of the fediverse. Lemmy will fail if it can’t get rid of the extremist political propaganda.
This is exactly right. It’s genuinely disappointing how few people realize it.
A good portion of them are absolutely paid foreign agents/LLMs pushing political extremes in order to divide the US and some European countries.
They masquerade as communists, fascists, anarchists, and more.
I’m so glad people are starting to realize this.
Maybe they’re tree scarecrows to keep bugs away
