One time my pixel 7 suddenly died too. Turns out the connection of the cpu chip was messed up and I had to get it reboarded. Idk if that helps.

Infinitely more endearing than an AI edit
I am so sorry about your uncles 😔. I hope you didn’t sprain your aunts too!
Man. I loved that character as a kid!
Oh sorry I must’ve been thinking about something else I’d heard about on the myths and legends podcast years ago. Maybe Mulan
Maybe they’re upset at the original Chinese myth of the little mermaid. Or maybe the hate Disney. Or maybe they have a phobia of water or burning boats. Who’s to say

Violet!
Penguins supposedly smell pretty bad. They are cute though

I installed Linux and used it for a few years, still do.
I still think it’s hard to install . Or rather frustrating I should say. Nothing seems to work immediately. I remember the first time I installed it audio didn’t work and it took a few days of googling to find out the packages I was supposed to install to fix it.
User experience is about making things as frictionless as possible. Yes I love the customizability of Linux but let’s not kid ourselves it’s still to this day frustrating to set up.
If these trends continue…ayyyy
Life could be a dream Life could be a dream!

I always think of basketball when I hear that
I can always tell if it’s a lady butterfly post

The people who say there’s no activity tend to be lurkers and they mean post activity not comments.
If you’re on a big community that’s usually not a problem but for the small ones it is. If you have a hobby, then chances are its biggest lemmy community still doesn’t see enough new activity to feel alive.

We’ve been burnt before

Uhh you’re welcome?
What are you thanking for?

Yeah that was a letdown for sure. Still better than releasing it as a mobile game I think.
If you haven’t heard they recently released the source code of C&C generals and zero hour and there’s multiple efforts working on a community patch.
I’ve been watching the competitive scene of zero hour for a few years now. It’s really exciting and now that the source code’s out, sky’s the limit on what we can achieve.

Heheh.
Well if it helps, a lot of these are sequels the user was anticipating because they loved a predecessor, so you can go and play that :D
I bet you find more esperanto speakers here than in the general population
