I love the movement a lot in the last game and it’s so great to see more of the same focus! I hope it’s just not a reskin though

so they’ve covered all 4 horsemen in the last 4 games:
What do you think is next?
I’ve updated some legacy nodejs to Deno recently and it’s actually not bad! If you’re using serverless Denoflare is super convenient and DTN is a tool for building Deno to NPM (both esm and commonjs) so you can have easy backwards compatibility if needed, it even shims all of the Deno standard lib.
It’s really impressive what Deno and Bun people have done - for the first time I actually somewhat enjoy server side JS!
So is Deno! You can easily import npm:
and node:
packages and run typescript without transpiling. With Bun and Deno there’s no reason to use Node tbh.
FYI you can actually safely lick all mushrooms that we know off. The bad ones will taste bitter if there’s every a confusion between the species. Though if you’re really unsure don’t risk it.
but discord is simply less accessible than any other option. I can’t even login without identifying 25 bicycles lmao
Where’s the pact with the devil and can it teach me rust and what do I need to pay. Asking for a friend.
I really like that theory too. It further expands that vision is what granted us intelligence as creatures coming on land could see significantly further and thus start planning and reacting to distant changes giving birth to modern intelligence. To add, whales developed this intelligence and went back to the ocean to absolutely dominate it.
That’s not always the case tho. Sometimes cities just forget benches exist. My town has no real homeless issues but still lacks of benches for some reason and the public parks team would rather spend the money on touristy shit like “dancing fountains” smh
Benches are just so nice. The value-to-price proposition is amazing and I don’t see why any city would disagree with this other than incompetence. I recently ordered a bench for a little public garden in my neighbourhood and plopped it there for 100usd. People love it :)
Javascript enters chat:
await new Promise(r => setTimeout(r, 2000));
Which is somehow even worse.
Don’t bother. My iPad pro is gathering dust as even loading a simple manga reader requires hours of work, patreon subscriptions and it breaks all the time.
Killed any interest I had in Apple ecosystem when my 1k usd + device is being held hostage by some corporate knobbers.
Hands down the best Lemmy client. One thing that bothers me is that clicking on reply notifcations takes you to “mentioned” notifications not replies - is that fixed yet?
Community is vital for anarchy to work. It’s hard to do that in an open online community tbh.
The last paragraph is cool too though. A single device for a household that produces enough water would be big for many communities. The only real question here is how complex and expensive the device is.
I wonder whether that’s safe enough considered there much shit in salty water than just salt but judging by the fact it’s condensing I guess that’d mean yes?
I’m not sure the mushrooms used in thr Australian case were magic mushrooms. That’d be more about mycology rather than magic mushrooms we’re talking about. Either way banning doesn’t make much sense.
Since its Lemmy world its a weird indeed. Mushrooms are not even illegal in like 1/3rd of the world countries and decriminalized/not enforced in the other 3rd. Pretty interesting wiki read actually https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_status_of_psilocybin_mushrooms
Any context why it was blocked?
Fastest app purchase I ever made! Feels so good to be home :)
Yeah I really liked puzzles and only found the timing puzzles annoying on a controller though with mouse and keyboard it was much easier.
