Just tested mine on their first flight. I actually think the 1’s fit me better but these are still comfortable.

I don’t care about any game stats for my phone but it is annoying that my P9P XL lags when it’s connected to AA and I want to grab it fast, double click the power button to open the camera and snap a quick picture.

I’ve experienced the same lag with previous Pixels. Assumed it was a RAM issue and maybe it is, but it’s annoying nonetheless.

The pay bill button on my capital one CC account doesn’t work on Firefox. Once a month I have to use a chromium based browser.

My 9 pro did this last Friday when sitting on the AC vent in my car which I too have never seen before.

My 8 pro sat in the same place many times.

AccuBattery. It was some door security app my company uses . I just took away background access.

The AI stuff is gimmicky of course but for basically questions Gemini is doing ok (quickly getting torque specs for bolts) will out in the garage seems improved over “assistant”.

Battery life has been good after finding a stupid app that was running in the background killing it!!

Well, to each his own… I should get $699 for my 8pro as trade-in and already got a $200 store credit. I’ve actually been waiting for the Pixel Buds Pro 2’s and by going with the Pixel 9 I am getting $900 “off” those purchases.

I only toggled it and saw no difference so I turned it back off. So far, the morning reboot fixed it, but I’ll be monitoring it closely. I use my headphones a lot. Also Not sure how to turn ‘off’ the pixel buds. I’m sure there’s a way to reboot them I’d just need to search.

I did go into developer settings last night and disabled the audio sync. “Disable absolute volume” and that didn’t seem to change anything. (I did not try to raise the volume on my buds after I was at max on phone though)

I’ve never noticed this ‘issue’ before. However I realize I did just copy a bunch of crap to this phone, install updates, etc… I’m also having some weird tasker behavior where it is randomly crashing. That was actually the driver of the reboot this morning as I had updated/toggled some permissions that didn’t seem to be sticking.

Responding to my own post… It was like midnight when I ‘discovered’ this, and this morning I decided to reboot my phone and then try again. The audio seems normal now. 🙄 I will be paying attention to this close now.

Wondering if there’s any setting that adjusts the max volume (like night mode). I wish I had tried before rebooting, but I was just drinking my first cup of coffee haha.

I’d guess I get about 10 days which would include 5-6 50 minute GPS activities and, wearing it / tracking HR 24/7.

Watch estimates 21 days on full charge (not accounting for activities).

This is my same complaint. I have been using Garmin watches for fitness, and when they got got a little less utilitarian looking I started wearing it full time to be a watch/track steps and continue tracking fitness activities.

I would like a better notification handling and ability to reply to notifications/message but not at the expense of battery life.

I got a Pixel 2 watch ‘free’ with the purchase of a Pixel 8Pro last year. I tried wearing it for a few weeks, and no surprise, the battery life is just not enough for me (non starter). Second, IMHO that watch overall is too small. My Garmin is the largest they have (Fenix 6X Pro) as it had the best battery life. Going down to the tiny screen/battery Pixel watch 2 was just never going to work for me.

The 3 has two sizes now which is nice, but the battery life is still way to short.

All, time limited trials

Well, early days, but after doing a full backup I went with the update and this appears to be doing ok so far. My recorder is working, my history and energy dashboard still exist unlike any of the .7 releases.

This allowed me to upgrade Alarmo (which had a dependency above .6) and fixes a disarm bug.

Hoping HA for me is back fully functional!

I have a Pixel 8 pro (with stock OS) and use Shelter to isolate my work apps. I have not had any issues. Super nice being able to just pause the whole suite of apps when I’m on PTO / away and don’t want to be bothered.
