I can fall asleep physically while remaining awake mentally with relative ease, I’ve never had the entry paralysis ever associated with the typical exit paralysis sleep demons.
The worst that happens is my brain is just incredibly disoriented when I open my eyes after it thinks Im asleep. The paralysis is pretty fun actually, sometimes it can be a real challenge to break.
We do? With NTP
Given most software engineers develop in a cloud environment
This is 100% false
Typically being purposely obtuse and spreading bullshit is indeed not tolerated. Hope that clarifies things!

CUDA was developed and launched by nvidia. The predecessor was lead by the same person and developed in the open, as opposed to CUDA.
Did nobody have math class? The pictures are always misleading!
It never actually specifies the density the people are packed onto the track, the image implies an answer.
I’d argue that the densities should be considered to be equal, regardless of whatever that density value may be. We do not need to solve for the exact value to discuss the problem at hand!
Weirdly good timing, here’s a Kurzgesagt video on that exact question! Uploaded literally yesterday (or yester-er-day depending on time zones)
Hmmm clearly youre the first person to think of that and it was not ever considered at any point in the design or development cycle.
I wonder if theres any prior art to the android approach to lockscreen privacy… perhaps a “Camera” feature?
20 years ago you could learn a bit of HTML and CSS and throw a decent website together, but nowadays you need to master tons of other skills (graphical design, scripting, etc.) to make even so much as a web page that won’t scare people away immediately
Looking at it this way is what stops people from trying though :(
What about up by the name of the repo? Your suggestion still looks almost reasonable, I like it!
Until Zigbee2MQTT breaks again ;P
What the hell? Thats not funny or anything it just fucks with your ex-coworkers who probably werent the problem, management isnt affected by that.
Pro tip, you seem really arrogant (including some other comments) and you need to tone that down before you enter the industry. Its nothing to be ashamed of and I’m not trying to insult you, you just assume your experiences are way more universally valid than they are.
God damn you are fucking annoying
don’t act like a trump supporter
proceeds to USE ALL CAPS AT THE END OF THEIR SENTENCE TO SAY SOME WORTHLESS POPULIST BULLSHIT JUST LIKE TRUMP SUPPORTERS DO
Were you not on steam back then? Thats what steam greenlight was, the users voted on applications to sell on steam.
Or should a company that is bleeding cash not lay off anyone until the company shuts down and everyone is out of a job?

This isnt as absurd as you think, its not the goddamn employees fault the execs suck ass. If there are performance issues from an employee that is different, but in general these moves are wholely driven by failure at the exec level.
oh so now we’re right back around at time zones again, wonderful.
except now it’s even more fun because there is zero standardization at all, but users are still going to expect for their computing devices to tell them a time that makes sense. Ah, but culture X thinks the day starts “6 hours before sunrise” and culture Y is more “the day starts when the sun is halfway between sunset and sunrise” and culture Z thinks something even more insane. Oops, now we’ve got locale-based time zones. Locale awareness is honestly even worse than time zones because its just so damn unexpected at times. My own computer has a horrifying mix of US and Europe locale settings, and that is already crazy enough.
stupid people will always think everything is just so simple.
