Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

Apparently, SpaceX has special tactics to stoke his grandiose ego and trick him into giving them the freedom they need.
It’s a tale as old as bosses. Many of them have big egos and think that because they’re in charge that magically gives them expertise. So if you want to do something you either get them looking at something shiny or you make them think it’s their idea.
I had a boss like that ages ago. If I wanted to work on something out of the ordinary I would plant the idea, then a few weeks later I would remind him that he brought it up a while ago. I used the fact that he had a million things going on so he never really remembered who brought it up. I didn’t care that he got the credit because I got to work on cool things and expand my repertoire.
I wish it were 100% in tomato hornworms. Seeing that 99% of them die before turning into moths makes me think all of the surviving ones just hang out in my garden.
Which one of the Cenobites are you?
They all but abandoned that years ago. They ain’t implementing shit on it.
My guess is that some non-insignificant (though certainly not large) new portion of buyers will replace their head units, assuming they keep the double DIN standard. It’s trivial to change out currently.
Of course if too many people do it they’ll change the slot and make the wiring harness an incomprehensible mess. One wire now controls your left rear audio channel, rolls down all your windows, and deploys caltrops if the police are behind you. If you wire things incorrectly it locks you in and sets the car on fire.
That may be why GM is not going to be putting Car Play and Android Auto next year.
I have the K10 Pro. The K series are great keyboards. Right now mine is mostly stock (red switches, and I changed out WASD even though I don’t really do computer gaming because it reminds me of my misspent youth) because every week I decide on a different switch and keycap combination. Last week I wanted black and purple with super loud clickity clacks. The week before I wanted something silent in light grey, dark grey, and red. Today I was thinking about getting vintage looking typewriter caps.
I think those keycaps look fantastic. Enjoy the new job and keyboard! Congrats on both!
And there’s no dead torrents. I could have probably added that too
Depends on your view. Some see it as a way to preserve media that could otherwise be gone forever. Some see it as a reasonable price to pay instead of paying 15 different companies hundreds per month. Others don’t mind supporting the individuals and small groups who run the servers but don’t want to support large corporations.
Given how many guitar tabs archives are online today it’s a shame what happened.
This is an anecdote because that site brought me back to another time. Feel free to skip it.
They have part of the OLGA archive there! Back in the day that was my go to. I had printed out multiple three ring binders full of tabs from there. When I would start working with new musicians I would put together a fakebook of 40-50 songs of the right style and just sit around and practice them.
That’s how I went from being a terrible guitarist full of passion to a mediocre guitarist who could badly fake anything well enough that it’s almost recognizable. It was such a great time.
My favorite is Stop Having Fun, Guys. Broken Base hits too close to home for too many franchises I enjoy.
So I went and looked. OP seems like a very unhappy individual. I found traces of the below plus a lot of the “whiney entitled gamer” archetype. I sure hope they find happiness someday.
I 100% want a bowl of meat. However, if you’re going to call it poutine with smoked meat then the poutine should be the star with the smoked meat being the flair, not the other way around.
I played Cyberpunk on Stadia. It was pretty good, no complaints from me. Stadia worked out really well in general for me.
I replaced it with a Steam Deck when it shut down. I used the money that Google refunded me and ended up not spending anything on it. I think BG3 was the first Steam purchase I made that didn’t come out of the refund.
I liked cloud gaming. I may dabble in it again someday but I don’t play often anyway and now I have a backlog so it’ll be a while.
That’s always what I thought but never got a straight answer.
I’ve got a friend who had a dog named D.O.G. He’d always pronounce it like he was saying “the OG”. I never figured out whether it actually stood for anything.
It’s also age dependent at the lower levels. Over 35 or 40 and you’ll pay more than someone young. Or at least that’s how it used to be.
Yep. A lot of these tech companies that have run in the red for years are now being called on to produce a profit and pay the big backers.
