3·3 months agoIt is a ton of fun! A word of warning though: there are funky game mechanics stemming from its origin as a board game from the 80s.

Hell, R was being used in colleges in 2000. Unfortunately, whether it was SPSS for the soft sciences or forcing stats work in Matlab for the engineers, professors always seemed bad at promoting the right tool for the job.

3·8 months agoWhile I do love prismacolor (mentioned in the other reply), if you’re looking to save a little bit of money, I enjoy Derwent Coloursoft. They are wax based, so they do have limits on layering; however they go down easy and blend well up until that point.
(To avoid amazon, I’d order from dick blick or another art supply store)

I think it depends on the table (and possibly the game). I’m playing in a game where the bad guys usually have their own timetables for doing things. If we as players get sidetracked, there’s the expectation that the bbeg continues with their plan unopposed. It’s also within reason that if the players are known to the bbeg, they will do things to keep us occupied / distract us.
With that said, if this is not what the table expects, then everyone needs to sit down and talk it over.

While there are actually several new world marsupials, I’m fairly certain that they’re all opossums.

They might be referring to the Warner Brothers disc rot issue announced earlier this year (affecting some mid 2000s dvds). Ideally, things are made well and last a long time when stored properly.
