I use an Xbox controller with Linux. Only issue I ran into was a firmware update for the controller before it would work with Linux. I had to do the firmware upgrade through a Windows VM.

I suspect it still draws battery power, but extremely small amounts. Few mah left in the battery could power a BLE beacon for weeks. There would be some limit to this as draining the lithium battery too deeply will damage it.

I use dvorak full time, but I can’t touch type on qwerty. I do get strange looks at work when I have to hunt and peck at the lab computers qwerty keyboards.

I have no exposure to dnd but am loving the game. I like turn based games in general though.
