Yeah, I think that’s actually the problem, I need to unsub from solarpunk because it cultivates a completely illogical view of the future.
I game, I hack my electronicles with dodgy firmware, and I read books digital and papyrus.

You seem to be missing warnings for nanoplastic and microplastic pollution. Also a warning for perchlorate contamination from forever chemicals. And one for wet bulb temperature zones near the equator that require hibernation or protective clothing during daylight hours.
There is no chill 2080 utopia in our future.
I do like the icons, they were a cute distraction.
Peaceful protests don’t lead to revolutions, violent protests do. When things get so bad that people start to violently destroy the infrastructure then you get revolutions.
Revolutionaries start real revolts by terrorizing the powers that be.
I’m playing Baldur’s Gate 3 with Wyll as my mage, and two custom hirelings that I brought in to replace Shadowheart the cleric, and the vampire thief guy who I was really liking up until he tried to bite me. So I killed him. Also thinking about letting Gale starve to death because I’d rather sell surplus magic items. The heroic characters talked too fucking much, and I didn’t appreciate all their drama. Hirelings are quiet and they kill who I want them to kill without complaing about it.
I’m playing a half-drow elemental monk who somehow learned to play the lute and lyre. He’s black because I’m black, which is also why I wanted Wyll. I found a cowboy hat somewhere.
Content discovery is really easy for me on Mastodon, I can search for what I want via hashtag or a post, plus the people I follow and my followers always have nice suggestions. But if your instance has low federation, you might not see much.
I can get a 2tb m.2 for $70, then put that in one of my ssd converters. Voila $70 2tb ssd.
I agree with the EFF’s argument. I also have no problem with the actions taken by that ISP.
They also lifted chunks of Star Citizen.
I love the idea, but the right side would need to have dry goods like potatoes and other roots, also containers for grains like rice. Instead of a microwave I would put in a large foodprinter that uses solar plus protein and fat cartridges to print meat substitutes.
Connect is currently updating so rapidly that it might remain on my phone even after Sync, Boost, and Artemis launch.
No thank you, I’ll use Firefox instead. Brendan Eich the CEO of Brave is a POS, he donates to shitty causes and then pretends that those donations don’t define him as a bigot.
“In other words, because he silently donated to causes seeking to strip rights from minority groups instead of directly harassing them, the outrage was unjustified.”
