I can feel the difference between 71 and 73 in my house.
At 73, my kids room is uncomfortably hot. At 71, it has a perfect chill for sleeping.

Split screen games have second person camera angles! You’re able to see through the eyes of someone interacting with you but you aren’t actually playing from their perspective.
It’s first person view for them but second for you.
The United Nations military makes their final push to destroy the Indo-Soviet Federation’s last stronghold on Mars.
As UN autonomous airships enter orbit, bay doors slide open to release thousands of cargo containers bearing a single warning sign:
SELF-REPLICATING DEVICE.
Careful with this. Downloading pirated content can definitely be illegal depending on where you live.
It’s just not usually enforced as heavily as redistributing.
I don’t have to trust it though? I just told you I revise and edit.
It doesn’t do my job for me, I still have to understand how to do the work properly. But I can use it to save time and then revise, check for errors, etc.
You’re basically arguing that spell check is useless because it’s wrong sometimes. It’s just a tool.
Perhaps you just don’t have a use for it?
It doesn’t do the thinking for me but man it’s a time saver for busy work.
It turns a lot of my work into “editing” rather than writing and then editing.
It’s very good for teachers to differentiate materials for students with a variety of reading levels.
Is it that odd?
I had 5 or 6, and if you count kissing a lot more. By now I’ve had several more and if you count kissing I’ve completely lost count.
For reference, I’m not particularly attractive and I’m right on the border of normie but not quite. I think my weird friends think I’m a normie and my normie friends think I’m a nerd.
There were guys I went to high school with who had far, far more sex than I ever did. More than I was even interested in because they’d sleep with just about anyone who was willing at any party.
By 12th grade, some of the “cool kids” I went to school with probably had 10-15+ sexual partners under their belt.
Doubt it’s spite.
I will avoid games that “feel” Japanese because they don’t interest me for a variety of reasons. I don’t like the exaggerated voices and facial expressions, I don’t like personified insects and sea creatures, and I don’t care for hamfisted dialogues that over-explain the entire plot.
Games like Mario and Zelda are exceptions because they have just enough of a Western feel to them.
I have to imagine Japanese players like things that feel normal to them the same way I do. And a lot of Nintendo’s bigger games have found a good way to thread that needle between Western culture and Japanese culture.
Will start checking daily! Thanks!
Where would I find this kind of deal??? I’d buy it now for that price.
They should be careful. Plenty of alternatives cropping up. No, they’re not as technically impressive, but anyone with some basic Photoshop knowledge can do the same things on GIMP, paint.net, photopea, etc. Might just take a few extra steps.
All going to be less relevant soon with AI art though. If we are in the rotary phone stage of AI, wait until we get to the iPhone stage.
I think the issue is that these service providers are more than capable of providing “unlimited” data, but choose not to because they can make a lot more when people inevitably go over their limit. The salt on the wound is the fact that ISPs usually have no competition. They usually have a monopoly on the area in which they operate.
Where I live, we have unlimited data that only gets throttled if you use a truly absurd amount (like if you’re constantly pirating large amounts of 4k movies or something). No caps or unexpected fees. Overall, I always felt like I had it pretty good, and I still think that…mostly.
The funny part is that my ISP had competition move to town recently. I kid you not, the week before the competition officially started up their service, my ISP sent a letter saying they were doubling my Internet speed for no extra charge.
They were trying to show how awesome they were but really it was the biggest slap in the fucking face. You’re telling me you were overcharging me that much for years?
Another issue is that advertising, which you never asked for, makes up part of your monthly data usage, as do routine and unavoidable downloads like security updates, video game patches, etc.
They are so lucky nobody died.
I don’t know if my thermostat is just wrong or if the layout of my house makes it inaccurate, but 64-65 in my house is frigid.
Plus we have a baby so 67-68 is really the lowest we could go at night I think.
But I agree, I sleep better in general when the blankets are warm and the house is cold!
