Ironically, now one of the largest population of immigrants in Germany are Turkish. How’s that for turnabout, eh?

Package manager choice is pretty important, and for that I always recommend debian-based for a pc for a new Linux user. APT is just so good.
It always seems like 1 step forward, 2 steps back with console gaming
The virtual particle explanation is wrong because it implies that virtual particles have a negative mass density on one side and a positive mass density on the other, and that by some unexplained mechanism the negative half of that mass density falls into the black hole more commonly than the positive mass density. This is the opposite of what you would expect, as negative mass would have negative acceleration, and would fall AWAY from the gravitational pull of the black hole, not towards it. This is simply not how virtual particles work. This explanation is mistakenly treating virtual particles as classical objects, rather than a phenomenon that is predicted by quantum field theory.
The real explanation is above my paygrade to describe, but it is a phenomenon related to the Casimir effect, where the space between the metal plates is analogous to space time existing after the creation of the event horizon.
There’s a limit to how big they can grow through accretion, yes, but no limit to their mass through mergers.
Ok is this not just doing 6 binary searches in parallel?
Just guess #888888 first every time and use the arrows to limit your search field, you’re guaranteed to get it in 4
Legos aren’t single-use plastic though. Not all plastic is bad, just the plastic that gets thrown away after geing used once.
Legos aren’t breaking down and polluting the environment just by sitting on a shelf in a nerd’s display case
Never fire someone for an accident unless the accident was a symptom of willful negligence. Fire them for being unqualified or incompetent, sure, but not for an honest mistake. Training someone to avoid that mistake in the future will be far less expensive than replacing them, and they’re going to be far less likely to make mistakes like it ever again.
Which is sad because a lot of science is just ruling things out. We should still publish papers that say that if we do an experiment with too small of a sample, we get an inconclusive result, because that starts to put bounds on how strongly a thing gets affected, if an effect occurs at all.
I’m a free speech absolutist, but only for “Free as in free beer”, and “speech as in Oscar acceptance speech”. Don’t let people charge to hear what they have to say, and start loudly playing music over them if they go on too long
That’s why, with any potentially lucrative hobby where success is based mostly on luck, you should only do it for fun while you save enough money to try it out for a month or two to see how you like it as a job. But you shouldn’t quit your day job until you have some GOOD evidence that you’re not going to be dirt poor if you pivot to doing your hobby full-time. You need a good following and a GREAT safety net before you make the jump.
You’re missing a buzzword between Elon Musk and Social network addiction.
Which might be a comment on society at large and not just your madlib
Well that’s also true with 2 colors if the bros just make a checkerboard pattern.
What you mean is that an arbitrary number of bros could section the pool into any arbitrary collection of shapes and with only those 4 ball colors you could guarantee there’s a way to fill the sections where each bro-bordered segment has a different color on either side.
I don’t watch Pay-per-View fights but I would watch that
Dead link, sad to see this one go

As with most advice regarding early childhood development, your mileage may vary.
