  • Government identifies optimal residential location for facility. Invites largest residential land owner in that location over. Place land lenders head in guillotine. Presents document to sign over land to the government assuring them they can maintain possession of their head in turn. Validate signature. Remove head so they can’t claim they signed under duress.

If they refuse to sign then remove head and forge signature.

Needs strict compartmentalization. Group A identifies optimal location and knows nothing about anyone else.

Group B finds land owner but knows nothing about why or who it’s for.

Group C secures ownership transfer documents and sends to a drop box

Group D delivers landowners to intake facility but knows only who they are getting and to where.

Group E transports landowner to meeting facility/room.

Group F picks up transfer documents and holds meeting with land owner. Sends documents to city hall.

Nobody knows or talks to anyone outside of their group or is provided any information on why they are performing their portion of the process. Group F needs to be strictly limited to a very small number of people. Vetting for group F is done by kidnapping a potential candidates young children and spouse while leaving a note where they are to report for work. Perform their duties for six months to have their family safely returned. During the exit interview remind the group F individual and kidnapped party that all group F members that have ever been involved in the history of the program, their family along with any subsequent family members will be executed should they ever speak to anyone regarding the existence of the program.

  • My first residence after the military was a common kitchen and living room with an exterior door and four bedrooms with a bedroom door at each corner with its own keyed entry. Each bedroom had its own closet and bathroom. So you needed an exterior door key and your bedroom door key to get to your room from the quad. It was one of my favorite places to live and I didn’t get along well with one of the other guys but we just left each other alone.

The building had eight of these quads per floor per building and it was two stories. Two buildings were connected on the second floor by an attached breezeway and paths to the stairs. The first floor had a rec room and facility office in leu of two of the center first floor quads.

  • Maybe your opinion is that housing is a human right but I’m not sure where you are drawing that definitive conclusion from. Are you saying it’s a legal right somewhere or that it’s your emotional stance? In my experience, housing, or even just shelter, is a human responsibility not a right.

Don’t get me wrong, it’d sure be nice if it was a legal right for folks to have a safe shelter of sorts. Men are commonly turned away from the limited shelters that exist due to comfort and safety concerns for women and children. I don’t see how that happens if it’s a human right.

Agreed, I take showers in the morning but sometimes I’ll end the night with a really hot bath, it helps my body not hurt in the morning if I’ve been working hard that day. I will take a piss before I get in the tub but I’ll be damned if I don’t almost always pee some while I’m laying in the tub relaxing. It’s never seemed to be anything to give a shit about to me but some people do seem hyper sensitive to that kind of thing. My partner and I have peed while in the bathtub together before and it didn’t gross either of us out. Maybe it would be more gross if our urine was dark yellow or more noticeable beyond feeling the warmth for less than a minute.

  • I’ve never felt any feeling about being at a cemetery. I performed hundreds of funeral services and it never came up with any of us doing them and we talked about so much shit being stuck together for over a year more or less with exception to a few rotations. I’m unreasonably curious how common/uncommon to feel uncomfortable in graveyards now.

  • Exactly how I ended up on debrid, I don’t know what the hell I’m doing anymore, I don’t mind paying but I got fed up with everything getting fractured and torn apart due to greedy ass licensing, I wouldn’t have even minded the price increases if it was one, maybe two, services but it’s absolutely ridiculous. I remember paying for up faith and family for a month to binge a show I wanted to watch and really started questioning how dumb I’d become. I got my moneys worth (imo) since I canceled after a month but I don’t have any desire to play the subscribe and cancel game either and it’s become pervasive if you just want to watch something. I knew it would get bad but I’d hoped for better, like Netflix and another competitor fighting for distribution supremacy kind of like Steam. That went to compete shit and I was naive af.

  • I really appreciate your comment but yes, I use frigate on an HAOS system. It works incredible and I have six of their cameras running along with four others from a different brand. The other four I can manipulate completely via Firefox on HAOS. The Reolink cameras just have no other option than doing the initial setup and advanced configurations from windows. So I keep a lab pc connected to that environment just so if I want to tweek anything like fps, resolution, network settings (IP, gateway, etc) that I’m able to do so. The web interface once enabling the https service on the camera has garbage capabilities compared to my other cameras. It’s not a huge deal, I haven’t had to get into them for advanced settings in a few months but it really annoys me that I can’t do initial configuration and advanced settings from Linux.

  • I’m trying to figure out what to do with my lab workstation. If I want to mess with the settings of my Reolink cameras windows seems to be the only stable option sadly. I’ve tried their android software and it’s garbage. The web interface is very limited after enabling it in the settings via their software. Wine has not worked well for me. It’s an isolated lan so it’s not a huge deal but I really wish there was a Linux build. I love the hardware and don’t want to replace the physical cameras. Just so stupid they won’t support a Linux client.
