Alien ones
Alien ones
Where’s all those 4chan short stories about humans being the “monsters”/ kick ass.
It was written from the point of view of a deer being tracked by a human even when they were out of sight and smell the humans keep coming and they never got tired.
There was also ones written from the point of view of aliens.
Fuck I wish there was a forum version of 4chan. All the best stuff is on there.
Every civilised country on earth uses metric.
Only the really shitty ones use imperial. Imperial is just stupid (unless you count in base 12 ironically)
There are 12 sections on your fingers (excluding your thumb) you then use your thumb to count to 12 on one hand.
Two hands can allow you to count to 24. Which is way higher than 10. Base 12 is better!
Can we all use base 12?
It will be a shower of shit for like 50 years but then it will be marginally better for pretty much everyone.
Challenger happened because the engineers said they shouldn’t launch because it was cold and the politicians said just do it anyway.
There is a whole thing about land use rights and energy and sustainability. But just because one guy was right on that doesn’t mean the whole movement wasn’t a complete disaster from the start.
As much as this website hates capitalism I’m still pro capitalist. But even I admit a lot needs to be changed. Land is one of the big things I have been contemplating lately. Having said that, there wont be any meaningful food production in cities for anything but mental health reasons.
There was definitely a crappier looking photo than that.
It looks like an abandoned building plot, a small one.
Where’s that 4chan post where all the BLM rioters tried to set up a new community in Seattle or something. Then they had everyone give there skills and what that want to do in the new world, everyone was saying they can grow food. Then there was the crappest plot of veggies I have ever seen.
What’s the deal with poo transfers?
They going to cure people that get ruined by antibiotics yet?
Wasn’t there a Goblin Waifu game that was alright?
I love how you can have a really complicated problem and it can be solved with such a simple premise.
It’s just such a basic idea that’s obvious in hindsight.
Cheaper isn’t always better no.
Which is why it is so impressive that the Falcon 9 is cheaper than the competition and more reliable.
SLS is still in early days so it’s hard to compare as it lacks numbers of reusability. But any rocket that has flown a lot whether it be the shuttle or even the mighty Soyuz. Falcon 9 is the most reliable rocket in the world and the cheapest.
If NASA can’t build rockets as cheap or as reliable as space X then I think the argument is that the SLS is a waste of money.
Starship is coming in a lot cheaper than SLS and SlS had a lot of legacy projects already paid for.
The fact of the matter is the real brainwashed people here are the ones that think Elon Musks Spacex isn’t a revolutionary company. People are talking about rocketry like they are experts but don’t know anything about it.
Giving up on Shuttle and switching to Falcon 9 instead of developing something new was the best use of money Nasa could have done.
Just yea keep circle jerking how Musk is the worst person in every possible way, at least you’re cool!
EVs are good for the environment
Art itself isn’t useless it’s just incredibly replicable. There is so much good art out there that people don’t need to consume crap.
It’s like saying there is no money in being a footballer. Of course there is loads of money in being a footballer. But most people that play football don’t make any money.
Omg your lack of awareness is amazing. That’s not even my quote.
Look I get it you irrationally hate Musk to the point that you see him as a caricature that can do no good whatsoever. He’s a stupid Disney villain to you I get that.
I also understand that you are just fighting against your own ignorance here and trying to “win” for whatever reason, and your points are doing more convoluted and irrational I guess just to prove to yourself Musk really is as stupid and and evil as you make him out to be.
The man is CEO of the most impressive rocket company in the world. I have provided video links of him showing knowledge of his company, he obviously spends a lot of time with the company directly. Seeing as this is about space, by the most impressive rocket company, from the knowledgeable CEO. That’s relevant for people that care about space.
If you want to circlejerk your Musk hatred and live in fantasy land go ahead. But here in the real world what Musk says about space absolutely has an impact on at least the short term future of space travel.
You mistake my rationality of being able to see Musk has some influence on space (which he absolutely does) as love for him. Your hatred is muddying your vision.
Let me leave you with this rhetorical question. Do you think your fantasy land you live in where you just look to prove your flat earth reality is good for you?
Let’s be clear what we are discussing here
presenting yourself like you actually have any clue at all about space - which Melon Husk clearly has not
That’s what we are talking. He’s obviously not the one the being calculations that would be stupid. No one is claiming he does that.
I can’t believe you actually saying you think he should be doing calculations a computer does. I guess you don’t understand business at all.
Go watch some of his chats with the everday astronaut. He clearly knows a lot about the company.
Go find me videos of him have no knowledge of spacex then.
Whenever he seems to talk about spacex he knows more about the nuts and bolts of the company than most CEOs
I’m getting a little more optimistic about liquid air storage.
Fundamentally energy storage doesn’t have to be great if energy is so cheap. If you would lose x amount of energy otherwise only saving 80% or 50% or even 10% isn’t really a problem if the cost is so low.
Right now energy is getting so cheap that these systems are now making more financial sense.
