I’m mostly just joking because I hate using phones instead of laptops/desktops and have bad experiences with SD cards in phones over a decade ago. Should have probably included some /j or /s to make that more clear, but /shrug.
I’d actually rather have the option than not and I don’t actually judge people for watching things on their phones.
Last time I used an SD card in a phone (actually used it: not just having one in there) was with a phone that have like 16-32GBs. Given you couldn’t install apps on it, that mean doing annoying file management to just try to get enough space to install something. Granted, if your use case is just bulk storage and the base phone has plenty of space for apps, I imagine its perfectly fine.
But why would you want to watch videos on your phone?
Music is small. 256GB is plenty to store well over 1000 hours of music. No need for dealing with annoying SD card setups.
Motorola generally supports unlocking bootloaders, unless you buy a specifically locked one from vendors (like AT&T, Verizon, Amazon Prime + Ads versions). Given it hasn’t even launched yet, its probably not support yet though?
Why would you put that on your phone?
DST means you also have things like CST vs CET and given some places start DST earlier or later than others and some ignore it all together, we probably have at least 50 time zones.
Always fun trying to schedule international regular meetings when suddenly there’s a week when half the people’s times changed and the other half’s times haven’t yet, so you try to figure out which time would exclude the fewest essential people.

One of the classes that can be chosen is: 6.4400 Computer Graphics, which has a programming 101a/b class as a prereq (granted, it uses python instead of C++, but pretty sure they used C++ as their language-of-choice for the programming 101 language until recently).
Given the variety of digital art (video games, VTube avatars/VR avatars, more traditional-style digital art, etc), having the tools to make those kinds of things can be useful for making responsive/interactive digital art.
Can’t say the intro has ever been particularly useful, even if new to the field. If the methods aren’t detailed enough to understand the methods, then you are going to have to look elsewhere. The intro isn’t going to have that information. If you want a general summary of the field, a dedicated review is far far better than most scientists trying to fill space to get to the science.

Its just an intro. Who cares if its shit? Just need words there that sound like the author wrote them because its expected in case someone accidentally reads it instead of skipping it as usual.
If you use it to just get started, but actually read it and have the expertise to fix mistakes and make it relevant, it’s probably fine. Not necessarily because it’s faster, but because some people just suck at getting started, and having nonsense to correct is easier to start correcting than turning whitespace into something.
Much less appetizing if you pronounce it “pee”. Unless you are into that.

Been in a lab meeting (biochemists) with a group who were naming a new method they made. They started with the acronym and decided what it would stand for second.
Even with issues like polio where he’s supposedly doing good, he does lots of harm from my understanding. Probably not though malice, but being a know-it-all who uses their money to shape policy, the end result is still the same. Having a tech billionaire in charge of medical policy has caused many more people to suffer from polio as a result than would have without his meddling. And that’s the problem with billionaire: even if they try to be good, they’re no dieties and giving that much power to unaccountable individuals means they can accidentally cause lots of harm. And often the have perverse incentives (see Bill Gates and all he’s done to hurt education in the US, for example).
