Looks pretty good, though the lack of particle effects is a bit odd. There are no decals from skidding tires either. Perhaps just alpha footage.

Oooh, I was thinking either Colorado or perhaps Idaho.
Don’t forget the meta where a new paid DLC weapon is super unbalanced and great for two weeks until the devs nerf it into the ground and everyone goes back to the default weapons that are just ok.
Heh, the first step in a long series of steps towards orbital shipyards and coriolis-class space stations.
The future is looking bright.

It’s so cute, I love their cute little facial expressions :)
Red rescue team, if you haven’t played a pokemon mystery dungeon game before. I played the DS version (blue rescue team) and loved it.
They know what you did.
While we need to race to get off carbon fuel sources to survive, we should probably try and build solar on human occupied spaces like parking lots, parking garages, mall roofs, drive throughs, highways, homes, offices, canals etc first. Save virgin land for wind, which might really need non-urban zones.
Kinda makes sense, though. You can fly from the west coast of the US to South Africa in under 24 hours. Areas that used to take weeks, months, and even years to get to are now under 24 hours and largely less than $5,000 to travel to.
We are gonna get some wild pandemics since anyone can criss-cross the globe so fast.
Definitely Pacific Drive
Imo, third party companies just shouldn’t have access to the kernel level. Someone is always getting hacked, and having this level of access to potentially hundreds of millions of computers is a huge risk. Especially if it’s for something trivial, like anticheat in Helldivers 2.
I wouldn’t say that’s entirely true. Vancouver, Vancouver island, and Montreal have some interesting bike infrastructure. Calgary has at least some infrastructure, too. Shifter is a canadian youtube channel that covers many of the canadian cities and discusses them in relation to other bike-centric cities around North America and Europe.
But yes, Canadian and American cities could use much more investment and a Parisian-style revision in road and plaza use, dedicating more places to bikes and foot traffic. Subsidizing ebikes will also help get people off cars.
Glad to see the west coast and Canada banning ICE, but 2035 is late. We should be massively pushing ebikes in cities along with public transit. Get fewer car trips ASAP, even if we can’t get off ICE overnight.
Harris is good, Pete B is a fucking fantastic politician. Great personality. Great at talking. Intelligent. Great at his job as transportation secretary. Easy on the eyes and the ears.
He’d almost be a waste as VP, because he’s doing such great stuff right now. He would be a phenomenal president. He has kids right now, so he probably won’t run. But the US and the world would be incredibly lucky to have him as a president someday.
Dude is one of those down to earth people who represents the best and brightest among us:
Eh. Not really interested unless I can play Halo 3 on my phone. And even then, the DRM on the MCC is so awful that it makes me constantly sign in on my steam deck.
Mobile gaming had it’s time in the sun with Plants Vs Zombies and Infinity Blade. It’s been downhill ever since with the rise of f2p gambling/lootcrate games. I don’t see mobile gaming ever coming back from that until regulations are much, much stronger.
Shoutout to whoever drew the cat butler from Omori.
Just finished that game and it left me fucked up but also…happy? Massive emotional whiplash.
It’s a completely different game vs undertale. It’s like comparing Dota 2 to DiRT rally, haha. It’s worth going in blind, and the post-game is extremely good and very replayable (and adds new content).
Single player games with a good story and fun replayability are what I’m after. Or co-op. Occasionally, a fun multiplayer with a risky, innovative design like Lethal Company.
If a game requires me to collect 100 goddamn feathers, or press X 20 times to “survive” a heavily scripted encounter, you are doing your game wrong. Look at Black Mesa, look at Subnatica. Look at the games that took risks like Lethal Company or Elite Dangerous. You don’t have to appeal to everyone. You have to tell a story well, and the gameplay should be unique and interesting. Larian understood that with Divinity 2, and made improvements to both story and gameplay in BG3.
