Navidrome is neat
Navidrome is neat
It’s not more risky than torrenting yourself, it is just not risk free. If you live in a country where torrenting is safe: great for you! It’s not like that everywhere.
Regarding the entire issue: Usenet and Debrid are extremely uncommon and “underground” compared to regular torrents or direct downloads. The lobby does not have infinite resources so they target the big and easy to catch fish. Just harvesting torrent IPs and suing individuals with zero knowledge of defending themselves is super easy.
Creating a burner email would take a tenth of the time it took you writing this post.
This is not my type of game but Nintendo is really on a streak with huge releases lately. Zelda, Mario Wonder, Metroid and so on.
Never played any of this crap but after watching the trailer my first complaint would be that the persons making the game have absolutely zero sense of style and all the example clothes look like something found in a backyard container in Uzbekistan in 1985. Maybe that’s exactly what the “japan/manga” fankids like though, it’s just such a depressing and backwards phenomenon.
You misunderstand, this is not the issue here. It is just not made for torrents and they hurt/break the network.
That was my point. Also BSD is not true Unix, it is Unix-like. Only Unix is Unix.
rTorrent “UNIX only” and c-tier. That says all you need to know about this list.
They sure have their uses. My Pi 4 is at around 3,5W idle and the new Pi 5 is at 1,8W idle. Extremely impressive! And fast enough for all my use cases, so for me it’s the perfect machine. Let me know if you want to sell your Pis :)
Yes, a Pi 4 with 2GB RAM. It is running Navidrome (music server) with my music collection on a 2TB SSD connected to it. Works great.
The energy consumption at around 3-4 W, pretty neat!
Those are great if you have no concern for power consumption (environment/money). Can’t beat the Pi for that.
There are no reviews because it’s not out yet.
I’d argue the opposite. Which company do you know that hosts or links to pirate material openly without repercussions? The flat design is the strength of this technology because it can not be stopped like a company can.
I think the best solution is for you to host your own instance and allow these pirate communities on your own server.
That would solve the problem and this is actually the strength of the fediverse. So go ahead , but be aware of the consequences of hosting it.
I am pro piracy but I 100 % understand that the admins here do not want to risk anything. They surely do not have the security set up for that. But as I wrote, anyone who wants and dares can do it. Just don’t accuse other people who do not want to take the risk.
For these communities on other instances, just get an account there. It takes a few minutes.
SQLite sure but I doubt PHP has any negative impact.
