I’ve killed a couple up here in CT, but now that I know they eat grapevines, which make a run at choking everything in my garden out , I’m having second thoughts.
It’s a bit “old lady who swallowed a fly” but if they develop a taste for bittersweet…
It’s usually that way here too, but yesterday, for whatever reason, there was no stress.
Cat politics. I don’t even pretend to understand it.
We had a floof calleded Miez (real name Mistral, but mostly called Miez, Mausli, or Moose) when we lived in Switzerland.
I hope your Miez feels better, I like to think they are cousins.
Had a moment like that with our Tuxedo this afternoon, cheers, enjoy the moment. Hope yours had as happy an ending as ours did.
So does the Remzle.
Cat in the sun.
It’s even softer than it looks, at least at first.
He mostly uses the scratching post, having been trained pretty well by his brother and us. This was the middle of a play session.
Since he likes my wife better than me, I like to make fun of him on the Internet.

I would add, as someone who read “The Lightning Tree” but not recently, it is recognizable as the same story with quite a bit added. It’s a nice novella and I like Rothfuss’s turn of phrase, but it doesn’t have the meat of the main story or the whimsy of “Slow Regard of Silent Things”
Also it is a little weird that the author’s note starts with “You might not want to buy this book”, of course I got it out of the library so I guess I can’t complain.
Is myanonamouse one of the big ones that you checked?
That is T as in Tea, U as in you, E as in ewe, S as in sea, D as in d’Taragnion, A as in aye, Y as in upsilon.
There are two pieces left!
Sorry, just enough for breakfast.
