The current does flow from positive to negative. Electricity is not the flow of electrons - they just generate the field that the electric wave flows through. The electrons don’t actually move very far. The wave flows outside of the wire, not in it.

Before giving my verdict on this Wayland/sway experiment, let me explain that my experience on X11/i3 is really good. I don’t see any tearing or other artifacts or glitches in my day-to-day computer usage. I don’t use a compositor, so my input latency is really good

But I thought X11 didn’t have compositors ? Just a window manager.

Chuck em out the window and there’s a thousand people behind them willing and able to take their place.

Its just Ubuntu with a theme.

You have to do everything from the terminal anyway…
