You’d have to vigorously rub and handle the solder on circuit boards to get any amount on your skin worth worrying about and then you just wash your hands. That risk is true of all boards that don’t use low or lead free solder. The whole comment is very hypothetical.

Same here. I got banned from leaving a comment questioning an antivax subreddit that another subreddit used an autoban bot to monitor. There was no attempt to take context into consideration. This type of moderation behavior should be unacceptable.
They make the ads look as much like postings as possible too

In reddit I questioned the logic of an anti-vax group and immediately got banned by about a dozen bots in other groups because I had commented in a “forbidden” group. There was no attention paid to the content of the comment. So much for reddit being a forum for discussion.
If you can’t moderate a group without using ban bots then you shouldn’t be moderating.
I’d like to see rules for moderators, for instance they cannot ban users based on participation in other groups

I was question a covid denier. The fact I posted in their subreddit was all that was needed to get me banned.
I gave up reddit when I got banned by an automod because I commented on a subreddit they didn’t approve of. No attempt to put my comment in context (I was questioning the “offensive” subreddit). No appeal, no one to talk to. Pretty ironic that a site that claims to be for “open conversations” is run like an authoritarian gov. Really scummy site.
