I think it is fairly usable today if you just use your web browser, phone, and messaging app. It is just when you want to do anything else it is a problem.

I hate it too, but you can’t get grapheneos on anything else. I also tried out the pinephone but it just isn’t there yet.

I use them for email aliases via adyy, and self hosting things like jellyfin and nextcloud. I don’t really “need” the privacy, but I still like to have it if I can.
