Isn’t the comment I answered to doing the same though? Based entirely on whether it is positive or negative and the play time, they reached the conclusion that it was sunk cost fallacy.
My point was that user reviews are a mixed bag and people will leave negative reviews on games they enjoyed for whatever reason but I guess it didn’t come across very well.
I mean, we see this kind of review all the time. It’s generally people that run out of things to do and start complaining that the game doesn’t have infinite content.
I didn’t notice a big improvement on my AMD GPU, seems to be largely targeted at Nvidia cards which makes sense since they were struggling so much.
The list just keeps going, it’s been an insane year so far.
I can’t believe Shadow of the Tomb Raider was that expensive, it’s such a forgettable game.
Fallout 76 is a lot better than what it was at launch but it’s still nowhere near close to Starfield. It’s a weird mesh of ideas that don’t really fit together but are still enjoyable separately.
Go to ublock’s settings, purge the cache and update libraries. That should fix it.
Ublock Origin is working well again, google keeps updating their script but it only takes a few hours to get a new fix.
Try setting a budget and looking for the GPU that fits within it, everything else more or less builds itself from there as you check the recommended CPU pairings and requirements they have on your other components.
Oh yeah, I noticed I wasn’t going to get very far when I couldn’t kill 2 ships at once and kept getting attacked.
Piloting, persuation and safecracking. Extra carry weight sure is handy as well.
Are the missions long at least or is it something like 6 hours total?

Yeah, that’s a good point to go do something else. I do wish the game was better at explaining how it’s systems work though, I’m still figuring stuff out 80 hours in.
Doesn’t look like it, you can either grab all the resources and use your ship or build workbenches on the outpost itself.
I love it, it took me a while to really get into it but it was well worth it.
My best suggestion would be to ignore the main story and follow side quests, that’s the real meat of the game.
Exploration is a mixed bag, if you are expecting Skyrim where you can get lost going in any direction you are going to be disappointed. The planets are mostly empty but incredibly well made from a space simulation standpoint, I spent a while just traveling the solar system and taking pictures of cool places I found.
My experience is kinda the exact opposite, I hate how repetitive the planets are and stopped exploring them besides setting up resource collectors.
What I love about the game is the questing and ship building aspects, there is so much depth to what you can do with your ship that it’s kind of ridiculous that it’s such a small part of the game otherwise.
Kind of, I don’t mind the surface being procedurally generated but the landmarks themselves are empty.
Finding a dungeon in Skyrim means a unique layout, rewards and maybe a quest. In Starfield landmarks can’t be unique because they need to populated too many planets but they are also empty, there is never anything worth grabbing or finding inside.
I like it so far, planetary exploration and the ship are the biggest letdowns.
I get the feeling that it would be a much better game if they just focused on what they are known for being good at, interesting maps and immersive worlds.
I feel like Bethesda really missed the mark on what makes their games special.
You can see the improvement in quest design and writing with questlines like the crimson fleet but it’s missing the glue holding everything together, the fantastic open world map that’s always there and Starfield does not have.
I think mods are eventually going to make Starfield into another timeless classic but they’ve never felt necessary before, Skyrim took everyone by storm as soon as it came out.
