People from europe sometimes come a long as assholes (“wE aRe NoT iN tHe ShItTy UsA”) while ignoring that political stability is not guaranteed. Neither is democracy. Sitting here germany i look very nervously at the many countries shifting to the right and getting more authoritarian.

This thread is a dumpster fire. Can someone explain to me why i should be concerned about the tracking of payments that as an average person will not happen outside of buying huge stuff like a car? While no one is forced to answer me i would like you to refrain from vague statements like “this is attacking your privacy”, because i am interested in how. If you think its obvious feel free to ignore.

I think the biggest point that i could see being a problem is the crypto stuff because i once made a anonymous donation via monero (that because i was concerned but the target needed privacy). It was about 30€ or something. Would that be illegal under the new guidelines? And if so, why would i care, since it is supposed to be anonymous.

I find it interesting how writing “a male” instead of man is a good way of pointing out “sexist mansplaining” and writing “a female” is dehumanizing (which i actually agree on). I will not deny that there are many sexists out there who are mansplaining or see women as less knowledgable. Without knowing the person (“offending”) however, i think we would be wise to use occam’s razor which would lead us to the conclusion that this is a prime case of the dunning kruger effect (which would also apply if sexism is involved).

Mycomment however has to be seen as mansplaining because i sadly have a dick between my legs. Sorry for that.

I have a really good oat-almond milk at my convenience-store (Netto) around the corner. Another (LIDL) sells a very milk like oat milk (that is called No Milk). Both go for 1€ per Liter.

Rank 3 takes the sugar free variant of soy milk from alpro. Very mild taste, gives your coffee the texture your used to from milk. I even liked it when i was still drinking cows milk. They also got their own NOT Milk, which is also good. My beef with alpro are their steep prices.

Meh, Honeybee Queens get their wings clipped. Also honeybees take away the food from local polllinators, killing of wild bees in the process.

As someone who is new to ttrpg this made my head explode but i see where the author is coming from. From my little experience i gotta say the roleplaying experience is really in the hands of the dm and the group of players. Not sure one could make rules to ensure these two “factors” are optimal 😉. I also feel like a dm can gauge himself how many rolls they accept. I had my dm step in when people were overeager to throw d20’s. D20 seems like a neat tool for scenarios the dm did not expect at all but is willing to see if luck opens something up. I am willing to be schooled on my newb-thoughts.

I understand the sentiment and i hope that you will only make pleasant acquaintances. Mainly people are paranoid because of stories they have heard and red and i get it. It is quite hard to judge how real the threat of doxxing is (as in what are the chances it will happen to oneself). Having said that, i hope you keep your optimistic, open and welcoming spirit. We could use more of that in this world.

Man we had cats since i was a baby. Mostly the cats have been chill af. We had one cat that was a little bit more agressiv but never without giving “fuck off and leave me alone” signs. Did i get some scratches? Maybe like once a year. Some years ago however, i dated a girl with a kitten and i tell you, that little shit was the devil himself. The girl had scratchmarks all over her arms, looking like a victim of self mutilation. Also the beast literally ran towards you, trying to scratch you, as soon as you dared to make eye contact. Thinking about it i am glad that the girl canned me after a while. That cat scared me.
